I volunteered with Metrocrest Services in their resale store. I provided helped with organizing the store, sorting out donations, and price tagging items to be sold in the store. It was an awesome experience, that I was happy to be apart of. I got to volunteer with some great people that love what they do.

I believe  the reason for service learning being apart of English 1301 is because it gives us a deeper understanding of ourselves and our involvement in the community.  We the students become more aware of the issues facing our communities and have a sense of responsibility  to deal with those issues.
