Wat als ik nu eens vriendelijk goeiendag zeg tegen iedereen die ik tegen kom. Ik vraag of ze de hele 40dagentijd iedereen die ze tegenkomen goeiendag zeggen of begroeten of ... ze mogen er gewoon over vertellen maar ze moeten vooral kijken of er veranderingen gebeuren in hun interacties met mensen of in de mensen zelf.
Zo kreeg ik al mooie verhalen te horen en ze vinden het zelf leuk om te doen.

De kinderen hierover laten brainstormen. Wat zou er dan allemaal kunnen gebeuren?

Nadien liet ik de kinderen armbandjes maken met katoenen touw. In die touwtjes maakten ze dan een knoopje voor elke 'Wat als...' ze  willen doen tijdens de 40-dagentijd.

Om naar de kern te gaan kunnen we misschien bezieling vinden in allerlei soorten wonderen...

Een alledaags wonder: 
dat er veel alledaagse wonderen gebeuren.
Een gewoon wonder: 
onzichtbare honden, blaffend
in de nachtelijke stilte.
Een wonder zoals er vele zijn:
een wolkje dat, hoewel luchtig en klein, 
toch een grote zware maan afschermt.
Enige wonderen tegelijk: 
een els die in het water wordt weerspiegeld
en daarbij van links naar rechts is gedraaid 
en daarbij met zijn kruin omlaag groeit
en de bodem nooit haalt, 
hoewel het water ondiep is.
Een wonder dat aan de orde van de dag is:
zwakke tot matige wind,
rukwinden bij onweer.
Een lukraak gekozen wonder:
koeien zijn koeien.
Nog een, niet slechter:
deze en geen andere boomgaard
uit deze en geen andere pit.
Een wonder zonder rok en hoge hoed:
witte duiven die uitzwermen.
Een wonder, want wat is het anders:
de zon ging vandaag op om drie uur veertien
en zal ondergaan om twintig uur één.
Een wonder dat minder verwondert dan zou moeten:
de hand telt inderdaad minder dan zes vingers,
maar wel meer dan vier.
Een wonder — kijk maar om je heen: 
de alomtegenwoordige wereld.
Een extra wonder zoals alles extra is:
wat ondenkbaar is,
is denkbaar.
