Whenever things get tough at school or work, this always echoes in my mind. Dad may be a simple man, but he has a way of teaching grit and wisdom like no other.

One of his go-to tips: “Don’t waste even the smallest opportunity. Sometimes, big changes start from the little things.”

So until now, I try my best to stay hardworking, patient, and humble — just like he always reminded me to be. 💙

Salamat sa pagod, sa pag-intindi, at sa laging pagkampi sa amin kahit minsan matigas ulo namin.

That was the very statement we heard from a 'Marites kapitbahay' who heartlessly commented about my Papa way back then. But God is so good. Ten years later, all of his children graduated. And this is through the grace of God, and the dedication and hard work of my Papa, who tirelessly worked to send us to school.
