Germans from all states volunteered to fight for the Prussians against France. At the beginning of the Napolianic wars German formed a confederation. But it was ineffective for the Prussia and Austria rivalry. Then, the Frankfurt assembly was held to determine how Germany should be united. Many German states then began to form their own constitution. Bismarck started war with Austria which caused the German states to divide and support one or the other side. Finally, the German empire was created and independence was influenced.

France declared war with Prussia in July, 1870, but then Prussia invaded France. On the 5th of October Wilhelm I and Bismarck entered the city of Paris and started their attempt at preparing the proclamation of the German Empire in the Palace. Bismarck's plan was to become the new major power in centre of Europe, next to France and Russia. He constituted the North German confederation to unite all the states, other than the south. The confederation broke down on the 20th.

Mexico was under Spanish control but its society revolved around race. The independence movement started on September 16, 1810 when Hidalgo cried for the country’s independence. Mexico’s movement for their independence started when Spain’s revolutionary events with the country’s who had broken free from Spanish rule. Spain had to reconquer those countries who had broken free and so Mexico was announced a free independent country of citizen equality.

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla was a Catholic priest who made the first cry for independence in 1810. Then, in 1821, Aqustin de Iturbide, a Spanish- supporting soldier who then became a leader for the Mexican independence movement, started to lead troops into Mexico City, seizing the control of the city to declare the country's independence. Then, not to long after, he planned to let Mexico free of Spanish control and to help ensure all citizens equal. Independence in Mexico was not easy because they fought 11 years of political conflict with the Spanish Empire. Mexico was finally it's own with independence for the country on September 27, 1821.

Haiti was an island of slavery inequality and oppression. As this revolution started, enslaved Africans rose against their oppressors. The Haitian revolution was a fight for freedom and also a struggle for recognition in the world. Their revolution shaped their culture, identity and commitment to freedom. The Haitian revolution is a testament to human spirit and the relentless pursuit of freedom. Their revolution had an important role in ending slavery and the impact on justice worldwide.

Jean- Jacques Dessalines and Henry Christophe resumed the war against the French in 1802. They were later joined by other leaders of the time. On November 18 the Armee Indigene defeated the French. Then, on January 1, 1804 the island was declared independent under the name of Haiti. Soon after, in October of 1804, Dessalines was titled Emperor Jacques I, but later was killed and Henry took control of the kingdom and Civil war broke out between Christophe and Sabes Petion.
