<title>Social Benefits -Exercise and physical activity provide many with the opportunity to meet new people they would not usually meet. Team games such as football are a notable example of this as each team is made up of numerous people and most football teams are run in year groups, so you get to meet people of a similar age. </title>

<title>Physical Activity guidelines -The NHS advises adults should aim to be active daily and over aq week physical activity should add up top 150 minutes (about 2 and a half hours), 2 ½ hours of moderate intensity activity spread across the week. - Alternatively, similar benefits can be achieved through 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity spread across the week in combination with moderate intensity exercise. -Adults should also work on improving their muscular strength at least 2 times a week. Exercise strengenths muscles and bones, improves mental health and also reduces your risk of heart disease. However the impacts of a sedentary lifestyle are quite the opposite as having a sedentary lifestyle puts you at an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease therefore exercising to the reccomendations of the NHS is important.</title>

<title>Alcohol -Men are advised to rink no more than 3-4 units a day and women no more than 2-3 a day. Both men and women are advised to drink no more than 16 units a week. -People drinking at above recommended levels are at a higher risk of developing chronic diseases and other serious diseases. A few examples of these diseases are heart disease, high blood pressure, liver disease, stroke, and digestive problems. -We drink alcohol when with friends as a social thing we also drink it when celebrating because we are happy. However, some people use it to escape their life problems which causes alcohol addiction. An example of a social situation where we drink would be the pub. We can meet friends there and spend time with them whilst also having good accessibility to alcohol. -The NHS suggests there are 3 main ways we can reduce alcohol consumption. Plan , set a budget, let them know. This strategy allows us to reduce alcohol consumption by making a clear plan for our nights, how much we are going to drink etc. Then we set a budget, so we only take so much money so we can only drink so much. Lastly, we alert our friends of our plan and how we are trying to cut down on drinking so that they can help us and keep an eye on us. Overtime hopefully we bring drinking to a zero or reach a goal of only drinking a desired amount. </title>

However, people sometimes turn to substances to get a quick release of stress which is harmful and can cause addiction. <title>Balanced Diet -Men should eat around 2,500kcal a day whilst women are advised to eat around 200kcal. -A healthy diet provides us with the correct vitamins and nutrients so that we can perform everyday activities and feel energized. <title>Smoking -Smoking increases risk of cancer, causes vision and hearing loss and dental problems these are just some of many health issues influenced by smoking. This is due to whats in cigarettes. Cigarettes are made up of nictoine which is highly addictive carbon monxide, tar and arsenic all highly toxic chemcials.-E-cigarettes or vapes contain just a fraction of the harmful chemicals that are in cigarettes, the main 2 chemicals being tar and carbon monoxide. E cigarettes are a good substitute however they still have their negatives. -E-cigarettes can be used to wean smokers off cigarettes slowly by using a less risky alternative. However, the smokers must make sure they do not stay vaping and continue in their efforts to completely stop. E-cigarettes are a good substitute because they still contain nicotine, so nicotine withdrawals are limited by converting from cigarettes to vaping. - The effects of E-cigarettes on people&#39;s health have not been studied long term therefore they cannot be deemed safe just yet. COPD (chronic obstructive pulmionary disease is a name given to a group of lung complications that causes difficulty when breathing, smoking putting you at the most risk of developing this disease. One of the main reasons people smoke is to reduce stress as the nicotine inside a cigarette causes the release of endorphins in the body when inhaled this makes a person happy and forget about their stresses for a while. Good ways to stop smoking are using nicotine patches or gum as you still get sall amounts of nicotinebut you don&#39;t get all the harmful chemicals of a cigarette. This stops nicotine withdrawals and helps you stop smoking all together.</title>

<title>Social Wellbeing -Somebody who is mentally struggling can be incapable of looking after themselves whether it be them not eating correctly because they are struggling with an eating disorder, so they lose enormous amounts of weight or even gain enormous amounts of weight. If somebody is struggling with depression, they may neglect self-care and not look after themself appropriately because they are struggling to cope or function daily. Overall mental health has a significant impact on physical health. -Socio economics plays a huge part in mental wellbeing as some people are less fortunate financially and therefore miss opportunities. These opportunities could be, for example a sports event like a game of football. All their friends could be playing but they cannot because they cannot afford to [pay for the kit or not afford the training because they are from a less fortunate background. Seclusion has a massive impact on people&#39;s mental health and makes them feel like an outsider. </title>
