For the past seven years, I’ve owned and operated my business, All Love Home Health & Wellness, and it has been a rewarding journey in so many ways. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA), and I specialize in memory care and hospice. I truly believe that providing this kind of care is both an honor and a privilege, it’s work I feel deeply connected to.

Currently, I’m working toward my nursing degree, continuing my passion for healthcare. I’m 50 years old and loving every moment of this chapter!

My hobbies include caring for bonsai trees, painting people on canvases with acrylics and oils, street and nature photography, hiking, working out, and I just started traveling. I have also reconnected with my childhood by putting together Lego sets that have been recently gifted to me. I wish you all the best!

My name is Lyla. I am super excited to take this class! A fun fact about me is I train and ride off the track thoroughbreds. These are horses that have previously raced at race tracks such as Golden Gate fields. I have one of my own named Fanta! He’s about 6,3! He’s 11 years old, and I have had him for 4 years! I can’t wait to read everyone’s reply’s!

I'm very excited to start this class and get to know everyone as we all continue to grow in our college experience. I currently work as a medical assistant and have been doing this for a little over a year and a half. Before I started my career, I was lost in what I wanted to do and was stuck for a while. Becoming a medical assistant has definitely opened up my mind to the different kinds of careers I can pursue in healthcare so I am grateful to be where I am even if I'm having to juggle the responsibilities of both school and a full time job now!

My name is Siya and I'm an incoming second year Public Health major. I'm currently getting certified to become a Medical Assistant and am super excited about the opportunity! I love learning topics unrelated to my major, such as Astronomy, which I'm currently taking a class on right now! I definitely believe I am a lifelong learner.

I am German Hernandez, I am 19 years-old, and an artist who is interested in character design within the art field. Some of my hobbies consist of playing Video games, listening to my favorite music artists, such as Ariana Grande, Charli xcx, and Daft Punk, and working on dedicated art projects outside of art classes themselves. I have now attended SRJC for a whole year, graduating from Class of 2024. I'm currently attending College as a Studio Arts Major student, and plan to transfer to Sonoma State after completing my units to receive my Bachelors Degree.

In my free time, I love being in nature, going on drives, walking by the creek, hiking with my dog, roller skating (even though I’m still learning), fishing, swimming, gardening, and collecting crystals. I just started a new job as a server/barista at the casino marketplace, and I’m enjoying it so far. This summer, I’m taking five classes, which is a lot for me, so I’m feeling a bit nervous but trying to stay motivated through summer and finish strong. I just started college last semester, so this is still the beginning of my journey right now, I’m taking summer classes and working on getting my general education courses out of the way. I’m 21 years old and currently working as a table games dealer. I’m excited about this new chapter and the chance to learn, grow, and build a better future for myself. I'm Yareli Martinez, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this Counseling class! I am a first-generation Mexican American, born and raised in the beautiful city of Sonoma, CA. A little bit about me, I'm passionate about traveling, and I love to experience new cultures, places, and foods! I enjoy time at the gym and going on morning runs. I'm a big fan of festivals and concerts, and I love all types of music! Family is also incredibly important to me, so I cherish every moment I get to spend with them. I'm also very passionate and driven to reach my career goal of becoming an Ultrasound Sonographer, specializing in abdominal imaging, and I'll soon be transferring to pursue that dream!

My name is Blanca. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and I now live in San Diego. I chose to pick up a few online classes at SRJC to fulfill some of my credits. I played softball from when I was 5 years old, and I could have had the opportunity to go to school on a scholarship but I chose to stop playing after high school. I am currently in school for Business and I look forward to taking this class with all of you. :)

I am Christian, I am 30 years old, and studying to work in Human Resources. I plan on going until graduate school. I am a home body mainly, but I do enjoy getting outside particularly the coast, and redwood tree landscapes. I enjoy movies, and relate a lot of my writing to similar inspirations and experiences of mine. I have been at SRJC since 2023, and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.
