         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first pillar is called "Shahadah". The English name is called "the profession or declaration of faith".<br><br><strong>What Muslims do to complete  the 1st pillar?<br></strong>Muslims have to pray/praise to god. They whisper to their babies' ears. There is a second part of doing the first pillar, the shahadah identifies Muhammad as God's messenger. "Muslims believe that all souls will face a day of judgment". The day that god will weigh each person's actions.</div>]]></description>

The English name is called "daily ritual prayer".<br><br><strong>What do Muslims do to complete the 2nd pillar?<br></strong>Muslims have to pray 5 times a day. They perform ritual washings, and worship anywhere. Muslims do ritual washings to be cleaned before praying/worshiping. They face the "Qiblah", the direction of Mecca. They worship in groups or by themselves at home, work, airports, parks, and sidewalks. They don't do not have a day of rest.<br><br></div>]]></description>

And in English it's called "charity"<br><br><strong>What do Muslims do to complete the 3rd pillar?<br></strong>Muslims must share about one-fortieth of their surplus wealth each year with their poorer/ill neighbors. They are encouraged to give even more. Zakat reminds people of God's great gifts to them. Zakat provides help for the people in need like food, water, money, and giving.<br><br></div>]]></description>

The English name is called "fasting", (going without food).<br><br><strong>What do Muslims do to complete the 4th pillar?<br></strong>Muslims have to fast for an entire month during "Ramadan". Based on the Islamic teachings, Ramadan was the month when God first revealed his message to Muhammad. They fast from daybreak to setting of the sun. Some people can't fast during Ramadan.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Pilgrims follow what Muslims believe are the footsteps of Abraham and Muhammad, and so draw closer to God.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
