Throughout Becky Walker's interview I learned a lot of differences we have in our lives vs those who live in Isreal and Palestine. I was shocked to hear that the borders were constantly changing, it could take 8 hours just to cross the boarder, and you had to be a certain age to get through. Two other things I learned would be that their homes were smaller yet had many more people living in each one and that the people are much more family oriented there. These two things make me appreciate the home and family I have.

Three things that shocked me were how the border between Israel and Palestine is constantly moving, someone can stay at the border for 5 minutes and get through or stay up to 8 hours, and around 75% of Gaza are children under 14. Two things I learned was that Israel is closely looking to Europe and climate in Palestine drives the social culture. One thing I appreciate now is how I don't have to worry about the types of things that people in Palestine and Israel worry about, such as bombings.

I think that its crazy to pass the border at a certain age. I feel like you should have a right to go where ever. the last thing that reallt shocked me was when she had said that she had to wait about eight hours just to go and grab mail. I learned to just adapt because you never know what is or may going to happen. I had also learned that the british took over after world war one. Im glad that I can just go where ever and im also glad that I dont have to suffer through terrorist hurting my loved ones.

One thing I appreciate is how I am not restrained in my country and have freedom to express my rights. I learned that there have been 2 major suicide bombings, one killing over 5,000 people

           Something I appreciate
———————————————————
1.
