I think the biggest way social media impacts teenagers today is through mental health: low self esteem, depression, anxiety, etc.

No, I do not believe the positives of social media outweigh the negatives. I say this because a lot of teenagers nowadays depend on the internets validation. I know a lot of teenagers nowadays that think of themselves as lower than others because they’re not as pretty as others or other problems.

One tip I think teens should use to keep their social media habits healthy is to really think before they post anything. They should be mindful of their privacy and make sure what they’re posting is positive.
