Kusama Yayoi has Schizophrenia,she can see dots that normal people can't see,she use her illness as a advantage to illustrate her thought from drawing and sculpturing artworks,this shows that life will always find a way out.
草間彌生患有思覺失調症，她會看到常人看不到的斑點，她利用這點來創作與眾不同的作品。這告訴我們生命永遠會找到出路。

With spots on the pumpkin,it makes the pumpkin unique.None of the pumpkin looks like the one Kusama Yayoi had created.This tells us that difference isn't really a bad thing,it makes us become out-standing though sometimes it does brings us inconvenient but everything will has it pros and cons at the same time.
南瓜上的斑點讓這件作品變得特別，沒有一個南瓜跟這件作品長得一樣。這告訴我們和別人不同不一定是件壞事，這使得我們突出，雖然有時會因為不同而遭到異樣眼光，但所有事都有它好跟壞的一面。

Public artworks are same as the artworks in the museum in some ways,because they both have appreciation from people.

High-Heel Wedding Church is a large public art located at Chiayi City Budai town. It's built by Jia Nan Binhai Scenic Area Management Office. It is not a Christian church. There is no priest inside it, It's a non-religion western wedding church.

 高跟鞋教堂的背景其實是有一點哀傷的.在過去台灣嘉南沿海地帶,  因烏腳病盛行, 導致一名將軍鄉的王姓女子在婚前病發, 必須截斷足部, 導致無法穿高跟鞋結婚. 雲嘉南濱海國家風景管理處認為, 在布袋鎮建造一座象徵未來幸福的玻璃高跟鞋教堂，可藉此彌補當年許多因烏腳病而被迫截去雙足女子的心中遺憾，完成她們的夢想。設計概念是才取台灣的傳統習俗, 新娘穿上高跟鞋踏破瓦片, 以此告別過去不好的種種，從此展開美好人生的意涵。

There's a sad story behind High-Heel Wedding Church. In the past years, there is black foot disease in Jiaonan coastal zone. A women in General Town  get's the disease before the wedding, needs to cut his foot down. She could no longer where high-heel on her wedding.  Jia Nan Binhai Scenic Area Management Office want's to build a high heel wedding church  to represent bless. They want's to complete their dreams.

 高跟鞋教堂打破了金氏世界紀錄, 是全世界最大的高跟鞋建築. 外觀是一個藍色玻璃高跟鞋, 體結構總高約17公尺，長達11公尺，以1269根鋼架和320片玻璃拼組而成. 每一個玻璃片都因拼裝腳度而異, 花了超過新台幣2317萬元

 看完這部做品的背景之後, 我才知道原來在這個漂亮的公共藝術背後竟然有這麼令人傷心的故事. 雖然我並不是一個女生, 但這故事讓我知道要知足, 並不是每個人都像我一樣那麼幸福, 我必須好好珍惜.

(1)WHAT: What have I found from that public artist and his/her public artworks?
The “Dome of Light” was designed by Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata. This artwork is situated at The Formosa Boulevard Station, which is one of the major MRT station in Kaohsiung. In addition, The Formosa Boulevard Station is one of the stations that has received worldwide attention, and also it’s currently the largest round-shaped station in the world. Moreover, the "Dome of Light" has garnered international acclaim and was named by an American travel publication as the second most beautiful subway station in the world. The “Dome of Light” is featured on the upper part of the station, is known as the biggest public art installation all over the world.

(2)SO WHAT: What do the findings show/tell us? 
The Formosa Boulevard Station is named after the "Formosa Incident,” one of the Taiwan's major pro-democracy demonstrations that occurred nearby on December 10th, 1979. In addition, it’s widely regarded as one of the most important demonstrations that galvanized the Taiwanese community into political action and led to the eventual democratization of the country. Moreover, the reason for the popularity/attention of the Formosa Boulevard Station, however, was not in remembrance of the incident itself but for the beautiful "Dome of Light" art display, which has become a common sight for the tens of thousands of people transiting through the station each day.

(3)SO WHAT: What are the most important/ intriguing/ relevant/ useful aspect(s) of the findings?
Dome of light is a 30 meter in diameter piece of glass art made up of over 4,500 glass panels and covers an area of 660 square meters. The lead glass panes were created and assembled according to a full-scale blueprint created by Quagliata to produce a creative new departure from this millennia-old art form. This artwork not only adds to the beauty of the station but also adds a new dimension to the art life of the Kaohsiung and creates a new scenic spot in the city. Moreover, Dome of Light is designed to tell the story of human life in four chronologically arranged themes: Water: The Womb of Life; Earth: Prosperity and Growth; Light: The Creative Spirit; and Fire: Destruction and Rebirth, with an overall message of love and tolerance. In addition, it’s also an excellent commemoration to the heroes who helped usher political changes in this country that ensured civil liberties and freedom for all. Furthermore, Dome of Light is made of glass, colored paint and lights, it represents the birth, growth, glory, and dimming of the cosmos and was named the second most beautiful subway station in the world by the American travel website BootsnAll.

Dome of Light not only adds to the beauty of the station but also adds a new dimension to the art life of the Kaohsiung and creates a new scenic spot in the city. Moreover, this public artwork is not only a remembrance of the “Formosa Incident,” but also tells an important story of human life. In conclusion, I learned that public artwork can not only be a site that allows people to view them but also it can be a remembrance of famous person or event and tells a story or give a message.

What distinguishes public art is the unique association of how it is made, where it is, and what it means. Public art can express community values, enhance our environment, transform a landscape, heighten our awareness, or question our assumptions. Placed on public sites, this art is there for everyone, a form of collective community expression. Public art is a reflection of how we see the world – the artist’s response to our time and place combined with our own sense of who we are. For instance, The Dome of Light is a public art that tells the belief of how Chinese people looks at the four major component that builds up the world: water, earth, light, and fire.

光之穹頂是由意大利藝術家Narcissus Quagliata所設計的， 這件作品位於高雄美麗島站， 另外高雄美麗島站是世界上最受關注的地鐵站之一，也是目前世界上最大的圓形站。 此外光之穹頂已獲得國際讚譽，被美國旅遊刊物評為世界第二美麗的地鐵站，也被稱為世界上最大的公共藝術裝置之一。

高雄美麗島站以1979年12月10日發生的重大民主遊行之一的「美麗島事件」命名。「美麗島事件」是台灣社會最重要的示威活動之一，也是一項最終導致國家民主化的政治行動。高雄美麗島站受歡迎以及關注的原因並不是因為紀念「美麗島事件」本身，而是因為美麗的公共藝術「光之穹頂」已經成為每天有數万人過境的常見景象。

光之穹頂是由4500多塊玻璃板組成的直徑30米的玻璃藝術品，佔地660平方米。鉛玻璃窗格是根據Quagliata創建的藍圖而創建和組裝的，從而創造出這種千年的藝術形式的創造性的新的背離。這件藝術作品不僅增添了台灣美景，也為高雄的藝術生活增添了一個新的層面，開創了這個城市的新景觀。此外，「光之穹頂」是以四個按時間順序排列的主題講述人類生活的故事：水代表生命之子、地球代表繁榮與成長、光代表創意精神以及火代表毀滅與重生。「光之穹頂」也展示出愛與寬容的總體信息。此外，「光之穹頂」由玻璃，彩色油漆和燈光組成，代表著宇宙的誕生，成長，輝煌和變幻，被美國旅遊網站BootsnAll評為全球第二美麗的地鐵站。
