         <title>BELIEF IN THE HEREAFTER</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p><em>The fifth article of Islamic Faith is belief in life after death. A person is not a believer</em></p><p><em>without the belief in this pillar The Prophet SAW has directed us to believe in the Day of</em></p><p><em>Judgement and resurrection after death.</em></p></li><li><p><em>Surah al-Baqarah;(2:2)</em></p></li><li><p><strong><em>DEFINITION</em></strong></p><p><em>Believing in life after death requires someone to belief that:</em></p><p><em>1. The life of this world and of all that is in it will come to an end on an appointed</em></p><p><em>day. Everything will be annihilated. That day is called al-Qiyamah, i.e. the Last Day.</em></p><p><em>2. On that day, all people who have ever lived will be brought back to life and</em></p><p><em>presented before God, who will sit for judgment. This is called al-Hashr</em></p><p><em>(Resurrection).</em></p><p><em>3. The entire record of every man and woman including all of their deeds and</em></p><p><em>transgressions will be presented before God for final judgement.</em></p><p><em>4. Those who demonstrate exceptional virtue will be rewarded, while those whose</em></p><p><em>good deeds outweigh their transgressions will suffer the severe punishment.</em></p><p><em>5. Those who emerge successful in this judgement will go to Paradise and the doors</em></p><p><em>of eternal bliss will be opened to them meanwhile those who are condemned and</em></p><p><em>deserve punishment will be sent to Hell the abode of fire and torture.</em></p></li><li><p><strong><em>EFFECT OF BELIEF IN THE LAST DAY</em></strong></p></li><li><p><em>1. Demonstrates the completeness, greatness, and uniqueness of Allah’s Names and</em></p><p><em>Attributes.</em></p><p><em>2. Increases the love for meeting Allah in the hearts of the believers.</em></p><p><em>3. Establishes fear from Allah.</em></p><p><em>4. Supports a Muslim in hastening towards good deeds</em></p><p><em>5. Aids in patience during times of hardship</em></p></li></ul>]]></description>
