It is more socially acceptable for me to be loud than if I were woman. However, as a male I am also expected to show no emotion and I am limited by the things I can like or wear. When we look at prisons there is a high re-incarceration rate because these things are not often encouraged and instead they are just locked up. People are feeling like they are more free to show who they really are even if it is against society's norms. This has it's benefits and its disadvantages though.
