• What do you know about... ? 2 mins in pairs. Elicit / Drill how to make Qs and Find: name, age, BDay, where they were born, where they live, something about summer holidays, fave subject at school, like English 1-10, crazy/random Qs...  Report back. Change pairs.
• Guess my... If I have kids, like spiders, where I'm from, my favourite dish, if I have pets and how many, what I like doing in my freetime, where I've been this summer... Get in pairs/groups and make a list of Qs and guesses. In turns, make me Yes/No Qs or Wh Qs to check their guesses. Points for those who guessed the most. 
• Race. In pairs/groups, 2 mins to write a list with as many words you can about (3 topics): things in the class, summer holidays, back to school... e.g.: study, wake up early... Then, swap lists, report and cross out repeated words, the one with the most not-repeated words, wins.
