After drinking his fill, the fox realized his mistake—he was stuck! The well was too deep for him to climb out. He paced back and forth, thinking of a way to escape. Just then, a foolish goat passed by and looked down into the well.

"What are you doing down there, Fox?" asked the goat.

The fox, seeing an opportunity, quickly replied, "Oh, my friend! The water down here is the freshest I’ve ever tasted. It’s so cool and sweet! You must come down and try it!"

Without a second thought, the goat eagerly jumped into the well.

As soon as the goat landed, the fox climbed onto his back, leaped onto his horns, and finally sprang out of the well. The foolish goat, now stuck, looked up at the fox in shock.

"Fox! Help me out!" he cried.

The fox smirked and said, "You should have thought before jumping in, my friend. Always look before you leap!" Then, he trotted away, leaving the goat alone in the well.

The foolish goat realized his mistake, but it was too late. He had trusted the fox without thinking, and now he was trapped.
