I think that it is not fair to make work weeks of at least 40 hours if you non get it paid. We know it’s only an internship but after all it seems like most of the work as we do as interns is the same work as we do as real employees. And the last thing that I would like to say is that you are a big company in NY which should be able to afford even a small salary for interns.

After reading about an unpaid internship at your company, I was concerned. There is a lot of unemployment right now in a lot of countries and this could be one of the reasons. There are a lot of interns that are doing more work than they are supposed to, but aren’t getting paid for it. If they are not paid for the work they are doing, this will further the unemployment rate even more.

I saw your advert for an unpaid internship online and I am wondering why it is unpaid. If the internship is solely there to get some work experience and for a short time, then I do get it. But if it is an internship and the intern has to do a full fledged job, it is just using someone’s naivety.

I would love a reply which tells me everything the internship holds.
