         <description><![CDATA[<div><sub><br>trading was a big part of Athens. most of there economy revolved around trade, they started to develop coins because barter became not convenient. Athens main trading place it was huge farmers and merchants would trade there.&nbsp;<br><br>Sparta grew most of the things they needed and took the other things from neighboring city states. when they stole from others they also took there people too so they helped with the farms. the helots was Sparta´s state slaves and they were assigned to families.          <description><![CDATA[<div><sub>Athens had a good education that involved reading, math,writing and a good physical education. people in Athens had a better chance in doing something else than fighting. Athens also lived a more life of luxury.<br><br>In Sparta if you were a boy that was born in Sparta you were at the age of 7 sent to military camp to start training. this training included emphasized physical education and  little reading and writing.</sub>   <br><br>  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>women and slaves in Athens were not able to own land they were not citizens and there fathers choose who they would marry. they could not go to school.<br><br>women in Sparta were able to train they could choose there own husband and could remarry.slaves were treated harshly and were killed often. </div>]]></description>
