                                                            Interview Reflection 

            This paper was an eye opener in away. The paper let me get to know more about Alan Saeed and let me see what some people think about guns. By writing this paper I got to see the way Alan thought and his ideas on how to better gun regulations. he didn’t believe in more gun control or more gun regulations. He wanted a better grasp on gun regulations. 

            One of his ideas was better background checks. He made a point where we need better background checks. He wanted to go more into the persons life. By go more into the persons life he meant that he wanted to the background checks to go into the persons life. Such as their financial history to look for something that they don’t normally do, and to see how many guns they have bought recently. Along with that he wanted to have gun owners’ backgrounds checked yearly. To see if a gun owner is planning something. 

            Another idea he gave was a black-market police force. Where a police like force was put into place. That monitors and prevents the sales and trades of illegal firearms on the black-market. With the black-market police force in place the will prevent these illegal guns from getting on the street. Further preventing those guns from committing mass shootings and other crimes. 

            His final idea was that there should be an elected official put into place. An elected official that focuses just on the gun violence in that state. Putting laws into place and enforcing them. Along with cracking down on the illegal guns and gun sales in the state.

            Like I said earlier this paper was an eye opener to me. Though I got to see how Alan was thinking and his point of view on this topic. Alan wasn’t very descriptive on his point of view on the topic. When I would ask a question, he’d give me his answer. But when I would ask him a different question he’d give me the same answer that he had given me in the previous question. With that being said it made it harder for me to write the paper with out poking holes into it.
