All of these pieces are formed around distinct shades of red, purple and blue but primarily the red. They all seem uniquely abstract as they use different refined shapes to create larger structures. The artist heavily uses shading to make each individual object in the paintings stand out and although there isn't much detail in the shapes themselves the way the colours blend in to each other ends up making it visually appealing.

This is the final version of the background and although it doesn't look exactly how i wanted it to I'm still fairly happy with it. If I had more time I would go through the whole piece straightening the lines and filling the colours a bit more to match the artist I took inspiration from. The part I like most is the contrast between the thick pinkish red, purplish blue and the saturation of the whole thing. It looks a bit too bright for the artist I chose and I couldn't properly replicate his sort of shading but the colours are similar. In some ways I prefer Hue/Saturation Attempt 2 over the final product as rough edges give more of a painted effect as this version can seem a bit too smooth. One thing I maybe regret was putting the llama as it's sort of distracting and takes away from the more abstract style that I was going for also a couple of the areas aren't coloured exactly how I'd like them but all in all I'm fine with it turned out.

I feel like I've gotten considerably better at Photoshop since starting this project as before this I had close to no experience with the specific software although I have used similar programs. I now know how to blend images, effectively use different layers, add filters, change hue/saturation and fine tune an image with the smudge tool. In future I could work on learning how to do these things more efficiently and learn how to operate the software better. In terms of the art itself my ignorance with PS caused it to look different to my original idea of how it looked and I could work on learning how to colourize an image to a more detailed degree. Similarly I could still work on blending images as the Urban Background ended up being my least favourite part of the project because I couldn't properly fit together the images.
