         <description><![CDATA[<div> The major tourist locations are, its capital, Algiers, Ahaggar National Park, Tamanrasset, Oran and Annaba.  The <a href="https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293718-d3474706-Reviews-Ketchaoua_Mosque-Algiers_Algiers_Province.html">Ketchaoua Mosque</a> and the Basilique Notre Dame d’Afrique are noted religious tourist attractions. Mussee National du Bardo which is a popular museum. Beni-Isguen is known as the holy town of Algeria, with its their guarded gate and auction market. Ouargla, also known as ‘the golden key to the desert’, is a lovely town which has a market square and stunning architecture.  You could also visit the ocean along the Turquoise coast or the <a href="https://www.algeria.com/sights/sidi-fredj/">Sidi Fredj</a> peninsula (History of Algeria.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are different practices in Algeria but with it being an all Arab country the majority tradition is Islam. Getting married in Algeria represents maturity (adulthood) which is important to the culture in Algeria. <br><br>Arabic families celebrate the birth of a baby with an aqiqah, a ceremony after a baby is born. This celebration is normally held on the seventh day after the child is born. This ceremony is to show thankfulness to Allah for a healthy baby. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Couscous is the national dish for Algeria but its roots are from the Berbers.  Muslim Arabs brought baking spices like nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon. Traditional celebratory Algerian meals include French bread and lamb. Mint tea is a common drink, as well as, coffee and juices. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Algerian law states that children from ages 6-15 must attend school, but the education department has difficulty enforcing this law. <br><br>The main focus of preparatory school/kindergarten classes is to prepare them for the environment of primary school. Students are introduced to reading, writing and math through age appropriate game play. Primary education is normally five years. This is where children master the reading, writing and math skills. These skills are meant to help prepare children for the community life. <br><br>Fundamental education (middle school) is develop their social, spiritual, ethical values and traditions. These values are meant to help prepare them for secondary school and adulthood. <br><br>Secondary school is considered their high school which is for three years. The students will either follow a general education track or technical education track. After three years they then go onto college is they desire. </div>]]></description>
