why do I want to start a podcast ,well , its not just going to be a podcast where a group of Uni students talk about being a student and how to make is easier , it is going to be a group of young adults , women , and the occasional guy , from less known place in England talking about , what it is to be a young adult in this world , problems in the media , environmental, sexual health , de stigmatising talking about sex freely , in men and women ,

we are in the ruff stages and will try and have its up and running but the new year

note to self - this will be fun and wont take over my studies and artistic practice , it might even help inform it , or even use it as a way to talk about your practice

newspaper workshop

This was the first time I met my tutor group and tutor, Demelza, she gave the whole group and me a newspaper and we were told we had to rip a page, statement, image, or something that took our fancy and place it somewhere in the studio but keeping in mind the reasoning for it.

I chose a snippet of an article talking about how the climate is still decreasing at a rapid rate, and so I felt that if I placed the clipping on top of the lockers it would be like I was placing the issue at the top of the priority list as it is still not at the top of the list and really should be, but also the fact that it is out of sight almost for standing on the ground reflect that the problem is right in front of us and some people in power or wherever refuse to change they eyeyline and look up a bit higher.

while setting up for the open studio I walked around the other studios to see what they had going on, these were pieces of work that caught my eye and quite frankly inspired me, they gave me a huge push to create, create, create. I am glad I did I now have that urge again.
