I looked to my right, you to your left, and that's where we first saw each other. Not quite lost, but not quite steadfast either. A pinch of familiarity, a curious sparkle in our eyes. As time made its way into our lives, our smiles turned into giggles, and soon into laughter. Have we met somewhere from sometime ago? Do you feel this just as I do? Tell me, because I don't want to stand here like a fool.

We wrote our days together, scribbling away into weeks and months. We ventured through the pages , fueled by the adrenaline of the unknown. We took each day as it went, pen in hand, with cheeky glances and our ever-growing inside jokes that would send us laughing into endless tomorrows.

But even with all seconds we've held so tightly, and chapters we've written together, maybe this book was just a fantasy. A myth half-lived, another untold fable.

Perhaps I couldn't have you, even when I'm with you.
Or fall for your heart, even when I've fallen for everything else.
Or be with you, even when I'm right beside you. Right here, right now.

What if we were just the lines of the book, breaking the rules and en to create a story we've only dreamed of?
What if this was the fate we've always wanted, but couldn't have?
What if this was what it truly was from the very start - just a dream.

Perhaps we were made parallel.
Side by side, but never touching. Never intertwined.
Never truly together.

Razanah.

Life's been on both ends of the spectrum lately, from high rises to low nights.
Made me realise a lot of things, things that I thought very little of before.

It seems like the further you try and run away from your fears, the faster they catch up to you. I'm still learning how to face my own demons that whisper during my vulnerable moments, drowning out my senses. I think we all are, in our own ways.

I've been putting myself first lately - my priorities, my feelings, my time. It's been paying off in more ways than one, ones that I didn't even know I could have. Shifts in priorities also meant shifts in my attitude towards certain situations, and people. It also showed me who'd be truly there for me, and those who only had their own interests at heart.

But honestly? It's a relief. This is a relief.

I want to be a little more me than I've been. & So I am. Right here, right now.

Love always,
Zana ♡

What is stopping you from doing what you want to do? If you think that you are not good enough, then the harsh reality is that you probably never will be. The mind is the giver of both good and bad, and self-doubt stems from a fear of failing. We are conditioned to avoid situations where failure is apparent,

The greats take risks, they are humble in their successes and take failures as learning curves. All you can do is your best, and darling, that is more than enough. Because the first step to succeeding, is to try. All you have to do, is try.

The bigger the risk, the scarier it seems. But it could also be the biggest blessing, or the biggest lesson. There's beauty in both of those, no?

No one has got it all figured out - we're all getting by with doing what we know and trying out what we don't. I think that's life - trying and trying until you can't anymore. Not everything that you're going to try is going to work out, and that's okay, you just have to know what's best for yourself and act accordingly. Don't confuse trying your best with trying blindly, your effort is worth money that you can't afford burning into something
