This video introduces Impossible Triangle challenge and a thought experiment using an ant to explore its logic.


First watch the tutorial and try drawing an Impossible Triangle, then consider how an ant would walk on a related surface: a triangular prism with a hole and then a Penrose-style version suggested via a Möbius strip.


The video emphasises that the real impossible triangle cannot be made, but similar "impossible" sculptures can be photographed from a specific angle to appear correct. The task concludes by asking viewers to be creative either by drawing or by creating a 3D version and photographing it.


Please submit photos of "real" 3D Impossible triangles, photos of drawing, scanned in images, digital images (please no AI - that really isn't the task) or whatever your creative juices have generated to team@booleanmathshub.co.uk with your name, year and school so we can send a prize out to the best submissions!
