It is already applied in 4X at some events where numbers are low. However I can see bigger problems changing BMX. Especially as globally the sport operates with age groups. Changing this would single UK out.

All mob's are welcome. 24", 26", 27.5", 29", hardtail, full suspension, xc bike or DH bike. No restrictions for riders when it comes to equipment.

As mentioned in DH, certainly with local events and mini DH events, equipment is not a restriction either. We have already set up 6 clubs for 4X this year and already we are seeing many more riders attending practice sessions and training days.

Attract beginners and novice riders to national events to watch and learn. Use competitions and interactive experiences - track walk with a pro etc....

BC course previews a week ahead of the event. Interviews, tracksuit up - behind the scenes with organisers. Get people involved in what race week means.
