There was no such thing as "inspiration" to me, I just felt like I had to grab this opportunity when I had the greatest chance. I have attended both the RENEW and Youth summer engagement program, in which I have absolutely no regrets. Sometimes,you draw inspiration from yourself only, not others.☆

Memorable experience

The most memorable experience I had during the RENEW engagement program was the banner making competition using waste. I saw the innovative and astonishing creations of my fellow peers, while having the chance to showcase my abilities too. And the best part of the youth engagement program was seeing the smiles on the young kids' faces!

After attending these programs, I have realized I wanted to be more involved with the outside world, I want to help people by joining in more developmental programs. Overall, it has changed the way I think and look at the world. Now, I feel like a better person.

On top of my own knowledge, I had learned many new things from my peers and facilitators. This was the most valuable and rewarding gift I had ever received. It's probably the most valuable gift for everyone.

Like my fellow mates have mentioned, I had no such thing as inspiration. I thought of making use of this kind of golden opportunities to the fullest instead of rotting in bed all day. I am grateful with no regrets for joining this kind of programs.

Now if I go on mentioning my memorable experience from this program, it was definitely those days where I got to paint on the walls during the summer engagement program of youth. As a someone who loves painting but a beginner, I got a chance to learn new techniques and gain more knowledge about painting.

I was able to gain many new knowledge from both of the programs of RENEW and youth.

-From RENEW I got to understand "early identification and safe referral", teenage pregnancy and laws of RPB.

-During the engagement program of youth I learnt the basics of painting, importance of communicating with others and I got to understand the values of a simple things.

Moreover during the closing programs of youth I also got to learn the five self coaching steps which I find very useful and motivating.

Joining this program motivated me towards learning the issues related to youth and helping solve it within my community.

It also showed me the feelings of being productive and archiving something other youth still lacks of. I feel proud and I am looking forward for joining these kinds of programs in the future.

This program cleared my mind, fresh up my heart and showed me the abilities of each individual. In the world of danger, toxic people and challenges, i got to meet the most amazing peers and was able to showcase my best side while learning and gaining knowledge.
