A plate, water, pepper, chopstick (or simply use your finger) and dish soap.

1. two recycle cups / tin cans 
2. some  difference type of strings. for example : nylon, fishing string, cotton string. 
3. needle
4. scissor

1. Try difference type of strings and see/ observe how do they work and which one is work the best for you?
