This article highlights the mental stress and pressure dancers put themselves through. By trying to control our bodies so much we concentrate on various things that we need to execute a specific move perfectly. For example, in pirouettes we focus on making sure our posture, alignment, core, turn out is perfect however by concentrating on so much it only makes us fall out the turn more and more. Eventually this will just put more stress on the dancer, furthermore if the dancer concentrates on less then that's less pressure on themselves with will hopefully make them execute a pirouette perfectly.
Diana.

After watching this video it has educated me on how and why muscles fatigue. it is important a dancer understands how muscles fatigue as then they can try ways to reduce the chances of getting muscle fatigue. if a dancers muscles fatigue then they will become much more tired and won't be able to perform to their optimum level, this can also cause things such as injury as they might not have the strength to either hold themselves up or possibly someone else up. therefore, by reducing muscle fatigue the dancer will be able to reach their maximum capability, reducing the risk of injury increasing their career longevity!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqwGTso2Wmc
