Address each person's post in the following way: What ideas come to mind when you consider their responses? What connections can you make to their response and people's responses? What questions arise as you think about other people's ideas?

Like a tree, they need to grow but if you forget to improve their roots, then they will collapse
Support:
-"Little we see in Nature is ours... ...For this, for everything, we are out of tune" (Wordsworth, Lines 3 and 8).
-"support for this argument is the testament of time. throughout history technology has proven to be a known factor in political power and the downfall of man. the Romans fell to time, the catholic church destroyed itself, the empires of Europe collapse to themselves as the strive for power. It's a continuous circle and we see it all through science fiction. it displays itself in F451 and I robot. i dont know how else to explain it but it will happen to us unless we can stay true to our roots and learn to grow them properly.

Can People Be Replaced by Machines?
Thesis: We can advance technology, but we can't teach it morality. In I, Robot, even though robots can help advance production, they can't differ right from wrong. In F451, they use advance media to control people and their thoughts. In the article, it is stated that the government can teach robots to do human jobs but they really can't, only to an extent. And from the poem, no one wants to be controlled by machines, yet we let our phones take over us.

"In the Wrong Hands"
Although technology 🤬 society in its progression toward a utopia, it can lead to the downfall of a society because it is relied on too heavily, develops on its own, and efficiently spreads biased information.

Technology is used to aid society in its progression toward a utopia, but technology is often responsible for the downfall of society. As a people we "lay waste our powers", for we too heavily rely on technology; the power of humans is suppressed by the power of technology. In F451, technology is used to help people learn, but it is used in place of books, which deletes a portion of human history. People's voices are suppressed. Robots in I, Robot help humans with simple tasks, but the development of emotion within the robots overpowers the humans.
