On page 6 in the second paragraph he was giving the example on the white Southern sociologist. I knew that there are a lot of people that go to prison but I never thought it was this bad. I don't really agree with how the people that were hiring picked more white people over black people because they're both equal. But it also depends on what good teaching means to whoever's teaching. It also depends on what level the kids are learning or if they even understand it. But I think if the kids live in a good environment and their parents are on top of their child's education then yes good teaching can lead to better learning. I work Monday through Friday as well as go to school. Tuesday-Thursday I have class till about 12 but after class I have to go to work because I work for the Table Foundation. I work with kids specifically 5th grade(The Worst Grade to get in my opinion) so I make a schedule they have to follow. I also have to help them with their homework when they need it but by the end of the day I'm so strained that all I want to do is sleep but I can't I have homework that I need to do. Reading this actually reminds me of a movie I watched called The Help. If you haven't watched it I recommend it because it's very informative. The book reminds me of the movie because the movie is about black women who are maids and they're just trying to make some money. But a white woman writes about the maids jobs and what they've been through. The book gets published and everyone starts to read the book. I think that if kids are shy they will properly have a harder time making friends in the future.
