Carlos and I determined that the relationship between gender equality, educational ranking and happiness levels is hardly apparent within our small sample. For example, the United States has been an advocate for years for gender equality within the United States and aboard. It has the highest educational ranking out of these countries along with the second highest happiness rankings between men and women in our small study. However, we have the highest percentage of unsatisfactory among women within these five countries. Sweden, focuses a lot of their energy on being a gender equal country and even though their educational ranking isn't has high as the United States they have a higher level of happiness within both genders and a similar low amount of discontent among both genders. Russia has the lowest educational ranking and pretty minimal movements in place to increase gender equality, yet they have the lowest percentage of unhappiness. In order to truly determine if there may be a relationship between gender equality and education within these countries further research will be needed and more content will have be used.
