I think it is important to recognize that no matter what, everyone has a bias, and it is even more important to find out what that bias is and address it. 
My favorite ethnic food is Thai and Arabic; I am half Palestinian and grew up eating and cooking a lot of Arabic food.

I love that the speaker provided information to where we can check our own biases. It is important to recognize that we all have them and the first way to tackle them is to acknolwegde they exist.
2) I chose this picture because I am the youngest of 6 children, with 16 aunts and uncles from Ireland to Spain to Mexico and feel I am made up of all these people, all ranging in race and age
