It was super essential for a successful passion day to have the pre-meeting to hear the kids' ideas and expectations. They were well engaged because they chose their projects themselves. 2 weeks before seems like a good time frame for this, so teachers have time to prepare activities, but not too long away for children to forget completely what they suggested.

Personally, making masks and costumes took too much prep time because of my lack of knowledge in the field and having to order things etc. It was also quite stressing that our essential tools were located in another room, which was not accessible to us. It's fine to share of course, but then we would have needed even more prep to gather all necessary materials in the morning.

In general: 
A very successful and fun day - the kids enjoyed it a lot.
Next time young students need assistance to get to the right location, it would help if the pre-passion day would be in same location as on the day.
The padlet sign-up system didn't seem to work very well and it's very bad in giving an overview, I would prefer another form.
Thanks to the comity for all your effort. All your planning and structuring made this day a great experience.

The day went so fast and smooth I felt like there were no problems at all with transitions and breaks.
I loved it and the feedback from the children was positive we might attempt to show the product in a whole school assembly :)
The trial passion day was helpful for it as we had an idea of what the students would like to do on that day.
One thing that I would like next time would be a bit better timing of when the actual passion day is as the last week there have been show and tell, reports, first lego league, bla bla bla and I would prefer in a more calming period so I could get more time to prepare myself as well.

We overestimated how much we could do so next time we would probably use less recipes. We also need to remember to turn the ovens ON (My bad- Saskia).... 
Mixing the students worked well in most cases as the older ones took more of a leadership role, but the P1s need to be a bit more involved next time. 
It was a really good idea to eat together at lunch as the kids got to talk and bond across all year levels!
