With Him, there are no accidents—where we are, all that we've gone through, who we are—to quote from the movie, "God can take a mess and make a miracle out of it."

I think back to my own life, how it may have started messy, but God has done His miracle in my life. So that was a great reminder, and the powerful stories drew me closer to Him. I watched it twice, still teared and am so thankful for what God has done for me through this movie.

After watching SHOW ME THE FATHER, I pray that every one of us will be able to experience Him for ourselves and eventually become a father to the fatherless. Many out there have not had a good father experience, so the word father is a difficult word. 

But we can always come alongside those who've had those experiences, journey with them and help them experience what "father" is all about by pointing them to God our Father. For example, earthly adoption vs us being adopted by God the Father. Reconciliation between father and son vs us being reconciled to God. Fathers who may fail us and leave us vs our heavenly Father who will never fail us nor leave us.

It may be through ups and down, but eventually, His Will comes through -- and through that comes His blessing.

Throughout the movie, I saw how the blessing of God was first given to the fathers and then transferred down to their sons and generations after. It reminded me how God desires to bless His people and that this blessing wasn't meant to be kept.
