Monas National Monument

The National Monument, or "Monas" as it is popularly called, is one of the monuments built during the Sukarno era of fierce nationalism. The top of the National Monument (Monas) is Freedom Square. It stands for the people's determination to achieve freedom and the crowning of their efforts in the Proclamation of Independence in August 1945. The 137-meter tall marble obelisk is topped with a flame coated with 35 kg of gold. The base houses a historical museum and a hall for meditations. The monument is open to the public and upon request the lift can carry visitors to the top, which offers a bird's eye view on the city and the sea.
Go early to beat the crowds and the haze. It is easy for the less physically able as lifts take visitors to the top. The diorama exhibition in the basement gives such a distorted view of Indonesian history.
This imposing obelisk is Jakarta's most famous landmark. Construction started in 1961 under President Soekarno but was not completed until 1975, under President Soeharto. The monument houses a couple of museums. The Freedom Hall depicts Indonesia's struggle for independence through a series of dioramas, whereas the Hall of Contemplation displays the original Declaration of Independence document and a recording of the speech.

Banda Tangah or Banda Naira is one of the islands in the Banda Islands, and is the administrative center of Banda District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku, Indonesia. Administratively, Banda Neira is divided into 12 villages, namely Dwiwarna, Kampung Baru, Merdeka, Nusantara, Rajawali, Tanah Rata, Lonthoir, Walang, Katoro, Kumber, Selamon, Dender, Waer and Hatta Island.
The topography of this island tends to be flat, allowing the establishment of a small town. Banda Neira Island has government offices, shops, wharves and an airport. The population of the island is 14,000.

Banda Neira was once the center of the world trade in nutmeg and mace (mace), because Kep. Banda was the only source of this highly valued spice until the mid-19th century. The modern city was founded by members of the VOC, who massacred the Bandanese for their nutmeg in 1621 and brought the rest to Batavia (now Jakarta) to be used as slaves.
This island is also famous as a dumping ground for political prisoners during the Dutch East Indies Colonial Government.

Mecca is the birthplace of Muhammad. Hira Cave which is located above Jabal an-Nur is in the city of Mecca and the cave is the location where Muslims believe that the Qur'an was first revealed to Muhammad.[5][6] Visiting Mecca for the Hajj is an obligation for able Muslims (fulfillment of the pillars of Islam). The Grand Mosque is home to the Kaaba—believed by Muslims to have been built by Ibrahim and Isma'il—which is one of Islam's holiest sites and a benchmark for the direction of prayer for Muslims (qibla), which reinforces the meaning of the city of Makkah to Muslims.[ 7]

Muslim rulers, both from within and from around the region, have long tried to seize the city of Mecca and keep the city under their control. Thus, like much of the Hijaz region, the city underwent various regime changes which owe its rich history. The city was eventually captured in the conquest of the Hijaz by the Saudis led by Ibn Saud and his allies in 1925. Since then, Mecca has seen a tremendous expansion in size and infrastructure with newer modern buildings such as the Abraj Al Bait Towers, the fourth tallest building in the world. and the third largest based on the floor area that towers over the Grand Mosque. The Saudi government also destroyed several historical buildings and archaeological sites, such as the Ajyad Fort.[8][9][10] Non-Muslims are strictly prohibited from entering the city of Makkah.[11][12]

Muslims from all over the world visit the city of Makkah, not only for the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, but also as tourists to visit the region's landmarks, such as the Aisyah Mosque and sites visited by pilgrims for Hajj and Umrah.

With its bright white walls and majestic black domes, the 130-year old grand mosque is a magnificent site. It was here that hundreds of people sought refuge during the 204 tsunami that flattened most of the landscape of the city. The tsunami was so damaging, it demolished any structures, old and new, along the way of the tearing swell. This is a fact that gives significance to the Grand Mosque of Baiturrahman in the city of Banda Aceh. It is more than just a masterpiece of Islamic architecture in the nation, its survival from the tsunami is viewed by many residents as a direct intervention from the divine.

Royal scripture has it that the mosque was firstly built from wood in 1612 under the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda. Some say that it was built even earlier in 1292 by Sultan Alaidin Mahmudsyah. During the Aceh war in 1873, the mosque was burnt to the ground. Realizing the value and its importance to the people of Aceh, in 1879, Major General Vander acting as current military general, rebuilt the mosque as it was once promised by Governor General Van Lansberge in 1877. Two more domes were added by the Dutch in 1936 and another two by the Indonesian government in 1957.

The Grand Mosque of Baiturrahman is located in the center of the city of Banda Aceh. Characterized by a 35-meter tower, 7 grand domes and 7 minarets, the Baiturrahman is probably the prototype for many mosques in Indonesia and Malaysian peninsula; supersede the layered roofed-style mosque.

It comprises an estimated 51.4 million residents distributed over 100,363 km2 (38,750 sq mi). The capital and largest city is Seoul, with a population of 10 million.

The name Korea derives from the name Goryeo. The name Goryeo itself was first used by the ancient kingdom of Goguryeo in the 5th century as a shortened form of its name. The 10th-century kingdom of Goryeo succeeded Goguryeo, and thus inherited its name, which was pronounced by visiting Persian merchants as "Korea". The modern spelling of Korea first appeared in the late 17th century in the travel writings of the Dutch East India Company's Hendrick Hamel. Despite the coexistence of the spellings Corea and Korea in 19th century publications, some Koreans believe that Imperial Japan, around the time of the Japanese occupation, intentionally standardised the spelling on Korea, making Japan appear first alphabetically.

anserhorn is a mountain in Switzerland which is located in the canton of Nidwalden and has an altitude of around 1,898 meters above sea level. According to My Switzerland, the vehicles there have been bringing tourists to the top of the Stanserhorn since 1893 from Stans. However, according to Stanserhorn.ch, the vehicle is not a gondola but a train with a capacity of 40 people with a journey duration of about 45 minutes
Even though until now the train is still operating on two of the three parts of the journey to the top of the Stanserhorn, tourists will only be taken to the station in Kalti.
From there, those who want to go to the top will switch to the CabriO gondola which operates from April to mid-November. While riding the train and riding the gondola, tourists will be treated to beautiful views of the beautiful Swiss landscape in the form of hills, as well as expanses of green plants and herbs
Upon arrival at the top, tourists can walk on a circular path that offers beautiful views while accompanied by officers. While looking at the sights, tourists can ask the officials about the Stanserhorn, such as the flowers there, or the birds that often fly around the area.
