I absolutely loved reading Ella Enchanted. I always watched the movie when I was younger, so it was super exciting to finally read the book. I never really realized how inspiring this book could be to children. Children see so much of how they are "supposed to be like" but this book shows that no matter what your given you should always make the best of it. That it's okay to be different and when given something hard to deal with it, they should make the best of it.

I felt like when I participated it gave a lot to the table. I gave a different view than what most people had. Not that it was better, it was just different. I loved replying back to other peoples post and seeing what others had to say about mine. When I replied to a post I didn't agree with, I found myself being very short and vague.

I noticed myself more drawn to the post that had more depth compared to the ones that were more like a summary. The ones with more depth seemed to give me more insight and a more of an understanding of the true meaning of the book. It gave me different points of views to see from.

I think what would enhance this experience more would be if people actual went into their thoughts and avoided summarizing. I hope for the next book club we do, people will remember the in depth ones from this past one and do theirs differently. This was a great experience and I learned so much more from it than just reading the book and knowing just my thoughts.
