I always watched the movie when I was younger, so it was super exciting to finally read the book. I never really realized how inspiring this book could be to children. Children see so much of how they are "supposed to be like" but this book shows that no matter what your given you should always make the best of it. I gave a different view than what most people had. Not that it was better, it was just different. I loved replying back to other peoples post and seeing what others had to say about mine. The ones with more depth seemed to give me more insight and a more of an understanding of the true meaning of the book. I hope for the next book club we do, people will remember the in depth ones from this past one and do theirs differently.
