Southerners though the whole territory should consist of slave states, as northerners thought that it should be entirely slave free.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some problems that this caused was two different perspective people being in the same territory and arguing over the territory's that would accept slaves and the areas that wouldn't. This made them spread past the Missouri line and into the non slave/ slave states, causing further issues.</div>]]></description>

Congress made stricter slave laws, causing further tension. There was a slave upbringing, killing 50 people. And after the US won the war, there were huge debates if it should be added as slave or free states, causing the compromise still having the same problems and issues. </div>]]></description>
