Facts
1. The legislative branch is made up of the House and Senate, known collectively as the Congress. Among other powers, the legislative branch makes all laws, declares war, regulates interstate and foreign commerce and controls taxing and spending policies.
2.The first step in the legislative process is the introduction of a bill to Congress. Anyone can write it, but only members of Congress can introduce legislation
3.A bill must pass both houses of Congress before it goes to the President for consideration. Though the Constitution requires that the two bills have the exact same wording, this rarely happens in practice.

Simply put, these are the basic rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.
2. But the freedom and rights of our citizens are the results of many years of upset and activity.
3. Civil rights protect us from politics.

1 Civil right are an essential part of democracy. These guarantee equal social opportunities and legal protection, regardless of race, religion, or other characteristics. Examples include voting rights, fair trials, government services, and public education.
2 US civil rights policy has its roots in a movement to end discrimination against African Americans. After the Civil War, slavery was abolished and former slaves were officially given political rights, but African Americans in most southern states were systematically deprived of their rights and excluded from public life. As a result, they have become eternal second-class citizens.
3. therefore, they vary greatly over time, culture, and form of government and tend to follow societal trends that condone or abhor particular types of discrimination. For example, the civil rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community have only recently come to the forefront of political debate in some Western democracies.
