The Tata Nano was a conservative city vehicle fabricated and showcased by Indian automaker Tata Motors over a solitary age, fundamentally in India, as an inexpensive car for current riders of scooters and bikes. Tata Nano was marketed as the cheapest car and affordable for middle-class people. But that cost-effectiveness came with quality compromises.

The Tata Nano, a low-cost car manufactured by the Indian company Tata Motors, was considered a failure for several reasons:

Poor design and quality: The Nano was marketed as a low-cost alternative to traditional cars, but its design and quality were criticized by many consumers. The car was small and basic, and it lacked many of the features and amenities that customers expected.

Safety concerns: The Nano faced safety concerns due to its small size and basic design, which raised questions about its ability to protect occupants in the event of a crash.

Production problems: Tata Motors faced numerous production problems with the Nano, including issues with suppliers and labor strikes, which led to production delays and reduced output.

Image problems: The Nano was also associated with negative images and social stigma, as it was often seen as a "poor man's car" that was not suitable for middle-class and wealthy consumers.

These factors combined to limit the success of the Tata Nano, and the company has since shifted its focus to other segments of the Indian automotive market.

Personal Experience:
My personal experiences of Tata Nano were Air Conditioner in Tata Nano was not so effective, horn stopped working within 2 months we bought. Cabin Space for Tata Nano was too low and moreover it looked like an auto. The engine was not powerful enough to support ghat roads in India.

Name: Maddina Sai Roopesh
Roll No: CB.EN.U4ECE20134
Department: Electronics and Communication Engineering

Description of the product:
Microsoft Lumia phone 925 is a flop. Nokia was successfully running till Microsoft acquired it in 2013. Microsoft Lumia 925 was a failure mainly because of its OS(operating system).

Poor Design:
It had Windows Operating System which was more expensive than android to develop an app. For Android, it was free to create an app and release it on the store. Whereas windows developers had to pay a certain to develop apps for that phone which led to fewer developers choosing this OS to develop apps. Coding in Microsoft was relatively difficult. So due to a lack of developer interest, the Microsoft Store didn't have a lot of significant apps in it. And there was a lack of customisation in Windows OS so I couldn't customise my phone as I can do in Android.

My Experience:
I had a negative experience when using this phone because I couldn't stream any youtube videos on the phone because google apps weren't available on the Microsoft Lumia 925 phone.

Product: Satisfries
Description of the Product:
Burger King introduced a new menu item advertised as a healthy alternative to their traditional french fries in the year 2013. Satisfries are made with a special batter that absorbs less oil, causing them to have 20% fewer calories than regular Burger King fries. A small serving of Satisfries contains 270 calories and 11 grams of fat, while the conventional version has 340 calories and 15 grams of fat.

Despite initial excitement and interest in the product, Satisfries failed to gain traction with consumers and was eventually discontinued by Burger King. Several factors contributed to the failure of Satisfries. Firstly, the taste and texture of the fries were not well-received by many customers, who found them to be less satisfying than traditional French fries. Additionally, the marketing and branding of the product were seen as lackluster, with many customers not understanding the value proposition of reduced-fat fries. The fries were also more expensive than Burger King’s regular french fries and failed to gain traction with consumers. I think another factor may be the limited availability of Satisfries, as they were only offered at select Burger King locations and were not widely available. This made it difficult for customers to try the product and also contributed to low sales. The company discontinued the fries in 2014, less than a year after they were introduced.

Burger King's 7,500 North American eateries were given the option of continuing to offer Satisfries. Owners of only 2,500 restaurants decided to do so.

"The remaining restaurants will treat the product as a limited-time menu offering and have begun phasing it out after this unprecedented run," Burger King North America President Alex Macedo said in a statement.

Essentially, Satisfries are dead at 5,000 Burger Kings and on life support at 2,500 others. The product was launched to cater to what seemed like a specific consumer demand -- healthier products -- but ultimately it seems people who eat fries are not going to change their habits to save a few calories.

Experience:
The Satisfries are less crunchy than normal french fries. The reason behind that may be the batter that was used doesn't absorb much oil, and as a result, they lose some crunch along with the fat and calories. While many French fries wind up tasting like salt and grease, the Satisfries actually tasted like potatoes. Potatoes have lost favor as Burger King has focused more on their carbohydrate consumption. They are costlier than traditional french fries which is not worth considering my experience.

Name: G Harshavardhan Tadikonda
Roll No: CB.EN.U4CSE20621
Department: CSE

Apple Magic Mouse

The Magic Mouse features multi-touch capabilities, including swipe, tap, and scroll gestures, which can be customized to perform various actions. It also has a rechargeable battery that can be charged using a standard Lightning cable, eliminating the need for disposable batteries.

Some of the great user friendly features that I've observed:

Multi-touch Surface: The Magic Mouse allows for easy and intuitive navigation through its touch-sensitive surface. You can swipe, tap, and scroll with ease using natural finger movements.

Compact Design: The Magic Mouse is sleek and compact, making it easy to carry with you wherever you go.

Bluetooth Connectivity: The Magic Mouse can be paired with your Mac or other Bluetooth-enabled devices, eliminating the need for cords and freeing up desk space.

Rechargeable Battery: The Magic Mouse features a built-in rechargeable battery, which can be charged using a standard Lightning cable.

Customizable Gestures: You can use the Magic Mouse to perform various actions, such as launching applications, switching between spaces, and more, by customizing its gesture controls.

Drawbacks/Review:

But when it comes to the exact and precise user review, the major floppy side of this mouse that I've encountered was the "Wired Connectivity" issue. It was so frustrating while using it because the wired connection port is actually in the bottom of the mouse . This tends to create an uncomfortable circumstance while we are actually using on a pad.I personally don't like it, but that is mainly because I am a gamer, and like to claw grip mouses, which you can't do on such a flat mouse such as an Apple Magic Mouse.

It’s not that special of a mouse— in fact, it actually lacks features compared to similarly priced mice. It’s not very ergonomic for the hand, and the charging mechanism looks like it was designed as an afterthought. Also, unlike the Magic Keyboard, the Magic Mouse can ONLY be used wirelessly. Because of the position of the port being at the bottom of the mouse, you cannot use the mouse in plugged-in mode if you are doing anything that requires low-latency input, such as gaming.

As with any technology product, opinions on the Apple Magic Mouse can vary and its success or failure is subjective. Some users may not find the touch-sensitive design to be as intuitive or comfortable as a traditional mouse with physical buttons. Others may experience technical issues with the mouse, such as connectivity problems or difficulty navigating on certain surfaces.
Overall, in some perspectives this product has been failed way too miserably than expected.

So, in my point of view it's just not worth the money.

Name: Badana Tarun
Roll No: CB.EN.U4CSE20011
Department: CSE

But unfortunately my pc lacked performance than compared to the windows XP software. Mainly I used my pc for playing games and watching movies. when I used to play games on vista the game suddenly turns off and the system shut downs. vista is incompatible with many of the software and games when I try to install it shows that the drivers were not available on vista. later on when we purchased a home theatre for the pc vista was unable to detect the home theatre itself in the pc, Initially I thought the problem was in the aux input itself but later on, in the service the worker said that the fault is in the operating system of the pc then he again changed it to the windows XP then the home theatre worked fine.

Boom buds is a basic bluetooth headset which prices around rupees 900 (at the time I purchased) and claims to have good audio quality and claims to have 5 hours of battery backup. The audio quality is poor as well as the battery lasts for around 30 minutes. For people who would like to experience bluetooth headphones for the first time under low pricing might think it would be a good choice but it is not.So I was a person who preferred wired headphones over the bluetooth headphones. And during my online classes i was in need of bluetooth headphones had planned to try this (to check if on ear buds suits me or not) ordered this seeing the reviews stating it has good call quality and battery backup is good. But in contrast the person in call can never hear you though you keep shouting. And the built quality is too bad that it broke the second time when it fell from around 1.5m height and the customer service was very poor that it made me get a bad impression on buying electronic products online.

NAME: SUBHASHINE V
ROLL NO: CB.EN.U4EEE20050
DEPARTMENT: EEE

A description of the product: The Nokia 3310 is a classic feature phone that was first released in 2000. It is known for its long battery life, durable build, and basic functions such as call and text messaging. The phone also has a few simple games like Snake, as well as a calculator and alarm clock.

I used to have a Nokia 3310 a long time ago. Despite the fact that the phone's battery life was impressive, the basic functions were only adequate. The small screen size made it difficult for me to view and type messages and the lack of internet connectivity and app store was a major inconvenience. Additionally, I found the monochrome display to be outdated and unappealing. Due to these limitations, the phone became frustrating to use and I eventually replaced it with a smartphone.

Name:Dineshsuriya D
Roll Number: CB.EN.U4CSE20616
Department: CSE

HP Envy x360 13.3''

About the Product:
HP Envy x360 was HP's mid-range flagship for the year 2020, whose main audience were College students and content creators. This product had tech reviewers going crazy about it. You could literally see every single Tech Youtuber praising this laptop and hyping it. The specification of the laptop on the paper was too good. It had everything a Computer Science Student would need for his entire college[8GB Ram, AMD Ryzen 4500U, AMD Radeon Graphics etc]. This laptop was a 360° laptop touch screen. So you could use this as your tablet as well. All this feature and I still had a bad experience. Below listed are some of the issues I have faced due to poor design :
-> Durability: The hinge mechanism on a 360-degree rotatable laptop can be more prone to wear and tear, making it more susceptible to damage over time. So when such laptops are made, one must be very sure about the Hinge's durability.
-> Increased Cost: Laptops with 360-degree rotatable hinges can be more expensive compared to traditional laptops, making them a less cost-effective option for many user. But this laptop was an exception. Though it looked like it offered unreal value for money, it didn't.
-> Compatibility Issues: The limited number of users who are interested in 360-degree rotatable laptops can sometimes result in reduced software and accessory support, making it more difficult to find compatible accessories and applications.
-> Battery Life: The battery life was good. But not for too long. As time passes the maximum Chargeability of you battery reduces. This should not happen any time soon you buy a laptop. But it happened in mine.
-> Lack of Driver Support: Though this laptop has all the hardware features, HP failed to give the software support for their hard wares apart from Windows OS. For Example, though this laptop has a fingerprint scanner you could not use it with Linux Based Operating System.

My Experience: HP Laptops are pretty much one of the leading Laptop brand in the world. That's what I believed and my trust was broken.
-> My laptop being 360-degree has a very poor hinge and they are a bit misaligned right now. It is only a matter of time before the hinges' friction breaks my display screen.
-> My display already has a hint of black shade in the right bottom corner, right around the hinge.
-> I have recently transitioned to Linux from Windows and I could not find the Fingerprint sensors driver, Audio driver etc. -> The battery life has rapidly reduced. A full battery used to give me a solid 9Hrs. This has reduced to 6Hrs now.
-> The outer-layer of my laptop's track-pad is wearing off slowly.
All this shows how much thought HP has put into the design and choosing of the material for this particular laptop. The Hinge is a common issue which I have seen in most of the other HP laptops too. But it already too late.

Name : Meghadharsan B
Roll No : CB.EN.U4CSE20141
Department : CSE

History:
History of face cream goes back to ancient Egyptians. They discovered early on that animal fat soothed irritated skin and tried mixing it with olive oil or other plants to make it spread more easily. Ancient Romans loved the smooth, unlined skin that resulted from avoiding the sun.

Negative Experiences:

While selling the product in market they will say it will give fairness to the face within a week or month. But the reality is none of the cream will make us to be fair very fast. These chemicals when keep on using in our face, our face will start loosening its originality. Some cream contains harmful chemicals like methanol, isopropyl alcohol, propanol, benzyl alcohol, and Sd alcohol etc... which cause Sevier damage to our skin. I personally tried two to three company creams which doesn`t make any difference in my face. The earbuds have a battery life of up to 18 hours with the charging case, and support fast charging for quick top-ups. The earbuds are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers, providing rich, powerful bass, and clear vocals. Additionally, they come with noise cancellation technology to reduce background noise and enhance the sound quality of your music.

My Personal Experience:
When I first got these buds I was genuinely excited even though these don't completely cancel out the background noise they seemed good until I tried to connect it to my laptop after disconnecting from my mobile which took more than 30 minutes, these won't disconnect that easily and take a really long time when transferring from one device to another which completely strikes out one of the important features of wireless buds, and its charge it last for approximately 12 hours and its has feature where you can change it's touch controls but they get reset whenever you disconnect them, you have set them every time you connect them to your device. It even disconnects in the middle and turnoff automatically even when its fully charged and it also has problem with the microphone which kinda stopped working a month after I bought them.

Mohith Ungati
CB.EN.U4ELC20039
Electrical And Computer Engineering

The "delete for everyone" function in WhatsApp has drawn criticism for being poorly designed due of its constrained usage and inconsistent functionality. Here are a few causes for this:
Messages can only be deleted within a specific amount of time, usually 7 minutes after they were sent, according to the feature. If the recipient has already read the message, it may be challenging to remember it because of this.
Some of the negative experiences I experienced while using WhatsApp are as follows:
Unfinished deletion: If a message was read before it was deleted, it may occasionally still be present in alerts or on the recipient's device.
Implementation that is confusing: Users may not be aware of the feature's limitations or comprehend how it operates since it is not intuitively labelled.
Privacy invasion: When a message is deleted, a placeholder reading "message deleted" is left behind, which may call attention to the content that was removed and cause privacy issues.
The "delete for everyone" option in WhatsApp is generally regarded as having poor design because it has a narrow scope, may invade users' privacy, and isn't always successful in erasing a whole message.

Name: Sweatha P
Roll No: CB.EN.U4ELC20074
Branch: Electrical and Computer Engineering(ELC)

Skullcandy Dime True Wireless Earbuds sport physical controls on each earbud.

The earbuds are available in three colors -Dark Blue/Green, Light Grey/Blue, and True Black. There are physical buttons on each earbud through which you can control volume, skip songs, and take calls. The buttons are not easy to press so you will have to settle with that. The earbuds also feature an IPX4 rating for protection from sweat and water

My experience-

This is a wireless earbuds from the company “Skullcandy”. It was released in the end of March in the Indian market. I bought it on July of 2022 through the official company website as there was a 70% offer going on at that time. I ordered these as the last product I bought from this company (a wireless speaker) was very good in sound quality and longevity.

But my hopes were proved wrong as the buds itself was delivered very late and it was not the color which I ordered; I got black but dark blue was the color which I had ordered. There was no option in the website to return or replace and there was no response for the mails and calls that I made to their customer care. With no choice left I started using the buds, the audio quality was quite good but after a month and a half with it, the right earbud just stopped working all by itself there was no fall damage or any type of damage done to it.

Again, there was no response from the customer care, so I had no choice but to put it aside.

Name-Naren Mouria.

In 2012, Microsoft was getting ready for their biggest product launches in a long time. After quite a productive year of windows 7 they were ready to release a product so flexible with all new UI design that saw the removal of the start menu

I expected more or less a better version of windows 7 in the next launch of Microsoft, Instead they got something that was so foreign. Not only was the lack of familiarity a problem, but the buttons were just in confusing places and more difficult to access I had to go back and forth from the additional screen which made multitasking so difficult . Windows 8 was better optimized for tablets as the company thought everybody was going to move over to using tablets but that’s not what happened. As a result, Windows 8 was basically forcing people to use a tablet when many of them didn't want to and also due to lack of compatibility Windows 8 was not compatible with many older programs and hardware, causing frustration for users like my father who were used to running certain programs on their previous versions of Windows so many users chose to stick with the older version instead of upgrading it to the new version it led to a bigger disaster than windows vista.

NAME-YESURI BHARAT
ROLL NUMBER-CB.EN.U4ECE20168
DEPARTMENT - ECE

The Google Pixel 4 was undeniably one of the very best camera phones you could buy on release. The Pixel 4 remains novel amid smartphones, as it's a compact device that offers a unique design you won’t see in other flagships. This uniqueness comes from its appearance, the materials it uses, and the fact that it’s smaller than a lot of other top-end devices, which can sometimes be a little on the large side for the average user.

They had boosted the screen with a 90Hz refresh rate that offered a smoother experience when scrolling through social media or playing video games, and there’s plenty of power on tap, with a recent chipset paired with 6GB of RAM.

But my experience with this phone was far from superior.
the first few months were a smooth sail, but later the battery just drain out in a few hours.

The BlackBerry Passport is a smartphone that was released in 2014 by BlackBerry Limited. It has a unique square-shaped display and a physical keyboard, which sets it apart from other smartphones in terms of design. The device features a 4.5-inch screen with a 1440x1440 resolution, a 13MP camera, and a 2.26GHz quad-core processor. It runs on BlackBerry's proprietary operating system, BlackBerry OS 10, and comes with features such as BlackBerry Balance technology, which allows users to separate and secure work and personal data on the device. The BlackBerry Passport was marketed towards business professionals and productivity users, and it received mixed reviews upon its release. Some praised its distinctive design and keyboard, while others found the square shape and bulkiness of the device unappealing.

experience

i am having bad experience with this product because it is very heavy and can't fit into my hands and in my pocket. and another bad experience is with passport is it has keyboard.
a problem arose to keys of my key board no service center near by not only for keyboard. any software or hardware issue no service center is there and coming to software the last update given is bb10 and there are no major updates after that. even i have problem with battery usage it will drain off fastly .and i also had a problem with the battery and that battery is non-removable so when i wanted to change the battery i have to unscrew the phone and i need to put the new battery and another bad experience is the notifications from different apps like facebook, twitter... etc gets to one app called blackberry hub and it is very messy to see all the messages in one place. features given by this phone is also not that much comparing with iphone6 which is released in 2014.

before switching to black berry passport i used to have a honor 6 phone which can run apps without trouble and when it comes to bb passport most of the android apps were not supported and it is hard to download any app and we have to invest to time to know the process of downloading. the track pad is another worse thing

name: muppalla dheeraj
roll no: CB.EN.U4CSE20241
department: cse

Description:
Windows Cortana is a virtual assistant integrated into the Microsoft Windows operating system. It can perform a range of tasks such as setting reminders, answering questions, and executing commands through voice activation. Cortana also has the ability to learn and adapt to the user's preferences and habits, which is intended to improve the overall user experience. Despite these features, my personal experience with Cortana has been overwhelmingly negative.

Experience:
1. My personal experience with Windows Cortana has been quite negative and has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The primary issue I have encountered is the virtual assistant's low accuracy in understanding my commands. I often find myself repeating myself multiple times, or having to use simplified language, in order for Cortana to understand me. This has been especially problematic when I am trying to use the virtual assistant hands-free, which was one of the main selling points for me.

2. Another issue I have encountered with Cortana is its lack of privacy. I have been uncomfortable with the amount of personal information that the virtual assistant collects, particularly given Microsoft's data collection practices. This has made me hesitant to use the virtual assistant, which further undermines its usefulness.

3. Furthermore, I have found the implementation of Cortana to be intrusive and disruptive. The virtual assistant frequently pops up unexpectedly on my screen, interrupting my workflow and causing annoyance. Despite my best efforts, I have found it difficult to turn off these pop-up notifications, making it difficult for me to control when and how Cortana appears.

4. Lastly, the user interface of Cortana has also been a source of frustration for me. I find it difficult to navigate and access the features I need, which has made me feel like the virtual assistant is more of a hindrance than a help. This has been particularly problematic for me given that I am not very familiar with virtual assistants, and find Cortana's interface confusing and overwhelming.

5. In conclusion, my personal experience with Windows Cortana has been negative, and has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The virtual assistant's low accuracy, lack of privacy, intrusive behavior, and poor user interface have all contributed to a negative experience for me. As a result, I have stopped using Cortana and do not recommend it to others.

Name: Thatavarthi Harshit
Roll No: CB.EN.U4CSE20068
Department: CSE

DESCRIPTION:
The Amazon Fire Phone was a smartphone developed by Amazon and released in 2014. Despite high expectations, the phone was a commercial failure and was discontinued within a year of its release. There are several reasons why the Fire Phone failed:

Poor hardware: The Fire Phone was criticized for not having high-end specs, such as a high-resolution display and a fast processor. The lack of standard features like a removable battery and expandable storage also made it less attractive to potential buyers.

Limited app availability: The Fire Phone was based on Amazon's own operating system, Fire OS, which had a limited number of apps compared to more established platforms like Android and iOS. This limited app selection was a major drawback for potential buyers.

Limited carrier support: The Fire Phone was only available through AT&T in the US, which limited its reach and appeal to customers.

Poor marketing: Amazon failed to effectively market the Fire Phone to consumers, which led to low awareness and low sales.

High price: The Fire Phone was priced similarly to premium smartphones from established brands like Apple and Samsung, but lacked the same level of brand recognition and perceived value. This made it difficult for Amazon to compete in the crowded smartphone market.

EXPERIENCE:
Once the announcement of the phone created a hype in my home and father wished to buy it, but he waited for time to check on its specification and buy it, but he learned, it was widely reported that the phone was not well received by customers due to its high price, limited app selection, and average hardware. The failure of the Fire Phone serves as a cautionary tale for companies looking to enter the highly competitive smartphone market.

Name: Narendran S
Roll No: CB.EN.U4CCE20036
Department: CCE

The sound quality was terrible. It didn't sound natural at all.A major drawback I experienced using this headphone was its build quality. From touching the outer coverings, one can find out that it is made from low quality plastic, which really pulls down its durability.

Ford India Private Limited began production in 1926 as a subsidiary of the Ford Motor Canada. Not only in India but it was well know automobile brand throughout the world because of its mass production, versatility, creative development of their models.

Ford India Private Limited is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company for its operations in India. Ford India Private Limited's headquarter is located in Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Ford also had operated integrated manufacturing facilities in Sanand, Gujarat. It has many different models at their timelines. Models like Figo, EcoSport, endeavor, fiesta had a huge amount of sale and where tough competitors for other brand models as most of the middle class people where very much into these cars in India. On September 9, 2021, Ford has exited the Indian market as it failed to keep up with the competition, and other global economic factors had led to reduction in demand. The main fall of this company was the inability to come up with new models with features which were in demand among the customers.

Personal experience:
In my home we had a ford fiesta 2008 model and which was serving great for about 7 long years. But unfortunately ford fiesta was discontinued by ford on 2015. after that discontinuation it was difficult to find the parts for the car as the service centers would not come forward also doesn't provide with valid information , the cost of maintenance was comparatively higher. When coming to buying the new car from the same brand had no meaning in it as it had only few models, there were many other brands coming up with new features ,which finally end up in buying a car of other brand instead of one from ford itself. Based on this I feel that ford India didn't do well compared to other brand in this field and that is the reason ford failed miserably in India.

Name: S SHOGAN SIDDARTH
Roll No: CB.EN.U4ELC20069
Department: Electrical and Computer Engineering (ELC)

A fitness tracker called the Nike Fuel Band was introduced by Nike in 2012. It was created to monitor physical activity and assist users in enhancing their general fitness. The Nike Fuel metric, which was used to gauge overall physical activity, was tracked by the Fuel Band, which also kept track of steps walked, calories burned, and the amount of "Nike Fuel" earned.

A smartphone app that was connected to the Fuel Band, which was worn on the wrist like a watch, showed the user's progress and gave them feedback on how active they were. Users could also establish goals and monitor their development over time. The gadget received attention for its straightforward and user-friendly design as well as for its social capabilities that let users challenge others and post updates on social media.

The Nike FuelBand was unsuccessful for the following reasons:

Limited functionality: The FuelBand's primary purpose was as a fitness tracker, therefore it didn't offer the same range of features as other wearables that also included things like smartwatch capability and mobile payments.

App support issues: The FuelBand companion app received criticism for its few features and unsatisfactory user interface, which detracted from its consumer appeal.

Experience:
One of my cousins who was interested in tracking their activity levels purchased the Nike FuelBand in its early days, hoping it would help them meet their fitness goals. However, they soon realized that the FuelBand was limited in its functionality compared to other wearable fitness devices and that the accompanying app was not user-friendly. Recently a new design of the butterflow pen called the butterflow simply was made available in the market. The butterflow simply pen costs 10/- in the stores. This pen similar to its predecessor provides a patterned grip made of rubber, that is supposed to provide an anti slippery hold for writing.

Negative Experience with the pen: -
I have had a bad experience with this pen. This pen writes properly for a few hours of opening it. But after some time, the pen starts to write lightly. The rubber grip of the pen is supposed to provide an anti slippery hold for writing. However, I have not been able to hold the pen properly due to it. Due to some problem in the pen's refill or pen's ink, it starts writing in a light manner. Hence, I had to change the pen several times during any examination. This was a nuisance for me.

Name: - M.V.S.K Tarun
Roll Number: - CB.EN.U4ECE20231

I tried Bisleri Limonata and Spyci, but when compared to other brands in the same category, such as Coca-Cola and Sprite, they were far better in terms of taste. Although Bisleri is a well-trusted brand, I didn't find the originality in taste after trying the other parallels. It ruined my taste palette. It felt somewhat like Glucon-D; artificial.

Another turn off was its availability. There were many attempts by Internet Explorer to get back into competiton by releasing new updates such as Internet Explorer 11 but the competition was high which lead to failed attempt.

Negative Experience I had:
Few years back, I actually used to use Internet Explorer.

Pepsi Blue was a limited-edition flavored cola that was introduced by PepsiCo in 2002. It was marketed as a "berry-flavored cola" and was intended to appeal to younger consumers who were seeking a unique and trendy drink. The drink was blue in color, which was intended to make it visually appealing and distinguish it from other colas on the market.

Pepsi Blue, however, was not well welcomed by customers and did not succeed commercially. Its taste, which many people felt to be overly artificial and sweet, was one factor in its failure. Additionally, several customers considered the blue tint to be unpleasant and turned away. The beverage was also criticised for its ambiguous positioning because it was sold to consumers as both a cola and a berry-flavored beverage, making it challenging for them to comprehend what it was and what it was meant to be used for.

The fact that Pepsi Blue was a limited-edition beverage was another aspect that led to its failure. Due to this, it was less prominent in the market and less easily available to consumers. PepsiCo also underinvested in Pepsi Blue's marketing and advertising, which limited the product's chance to catch the attention of consumers.

In general, PepsiCo's attempt to corner a new unique product with a special and slashing product with Pepsi Blue was a failure. Pepsi Blue struggled to acquire traction in the market due to a mix of bad flavour, an unappealing colour, and unclear positioning. It was subsequently abandoned.

NAME: Kota Abhijith
ROLL NO: CB.EN.U4EEE20121
DEPARTMENT: EEE

Resistance tubes are a form of exercise equipment that provides resistance with respect to the length they are stretched. They are designed to replicate the function of dumbbells and other free weight equipments to an extent. Or they can even be used in addition to the above mentioned equipment in order to increase the resistance.
NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE
Although well designed tubes and bands can be very beneficial, the tubes I used were flimsy to the point of giving in to breakage within only a few days of usage. This resulted in a minor injury around my nose due to the rebounding action of the product. Despite being sold at a high price, the tubes were not well put together. Another problem I had noticed even earlier was the grip that was not comfortable enough and caused skin irritation in my palms.
NAME : Harishankhar T K
ROLL NO. : CB.EN.U4ECE20221
DEPARTMENT : ECE

A DESCRIPTION OF THIS PRODUCT AND WHY I THINK IT IS NOT WELL DESIGNED:
Samsung, which has overtaken Apple in the smartphone
market last year, also had one of the more recent product flops. The Note S7, a phablet that launched in August 2016, was initially well received. However, it had a serious flaw. The phones caught fire on multiple occasions due to an issue with the battery software, including once on a SouthWest Airlines aircraft that required an evacuation. The Department of Transportation soon declared the Note 7 to be prohibited on commercial flights. After an expensive recall, Samsung halted Note 7 production globally in October. Due to the fiasco, the corporation is thought to have lost more than $3 billion, and earlier this year Apple regained the top spot in the worldwide smartphone market.
NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE:
I found that what caused the Samsung galaxy note 7 to overheat was a defect in the design of the phones' batteries when they were manufactured, which made the electrodes of the battery pliable which produced short circuits and caused the phones to overheat, and eventually catch on fire and explode.
Samsung's engineers must exercise greater caution when selecting the materials used to create the software and hardware for its smartphones, even though studies are still ongoing to determine the precise cause of the Samsung Note 7 explosions. Before a product is put on the market, there should also be a critical risk analysis in which an RPN for each potential failure mode is determined. This will guarantee that high-risk parameters are thoroughly explored and risk mitigation measures are implemented beforehand.
NAME: DUPPALA.VIJAYA RAGHAVA
DEPARTMENT: CSE
ROLL NO: CB.EN.U4CSE20218

Name Of the Product: Snap Chat
Description: -
Snapchat is a multimedia messaging software that allows users to transmit photographs, videos, and messages that are deleted once they are viewed. Younger generations often use the app to interact with friends and share their daily lives. Snapchat also has filters, lenses, and augmented reality effects that users may employ to add creative elements to their images and videos. Snapchat's features include Stories, which are short compilations of photographs and videos that can be viewed by friends for 24 hours, and Snap Map, which allows users to see the location of their friends on a map. Snapchat is accessible via iOS and Android devices.
Why this is an example of a bad product design: -
Snapchat has been chastised for a number of aspects of its product design, its user interface has been characterized as difficult to manage and perplexing for many users, especially those who are not tech-savvy or are older. The app's interface has changed multiple times, making it even more difficult for users to identify and use the functions they require. Some users have reported dependability concerns with Snapchat, such as slow loading times, glitches, and freezes. These flaws might lead to a poor user experience and decreased app engagement.

Mental Health: Snapchat's extensive usage of filters and augmented reality capabilities has been chastised for encouraging unrealistic beauty standards and contributing to mental health issues such as anxiety and low self-esteem. The app's emphasis on beauty and self-presentation has also been chastised for perpetuating unhealthy cultural standards.

Snapchat's privacy practices: The software has been chastised for collecting and sharing user data without explicit authorization. The Zune came much too late, as the iPod had already rapidly become the go-to source for portable entertainment.

Negative Experience while using the product:
this product is considered to be a epic failure due to its Lack of Innovation, Insufficient Marketing, and due to its bad timing.
Lack of Innovation: While it wasn’t a bad device, the Zune just didn’t have features that set it apart enough from the iPod. It doesn't have many features but what it contains is::
* a 3mm jack for wired headphones
* a circular scroll tab to pause/play or reduce/increase the volume of the song played
* A clip to clip on to clothes so as to ensure safety while exercising or any form of physical movement.
These are the features that exist but the product in terms of a utility aspect lacks a lot of basic features such as very less uploading of songs, constant shuffle model (which many users disapproved of), no battery percent display, no availability of bluetooth, very easy to lose, low processing power, no display and more.

My Experience:
This product is very flimsy andmore like a waste of money as it works on flash memory we pay more for small sizes of storage. Since it doesn't employ bluetooth, the experience of wearing it during a physical workout is bulky as we use wired headphones and therefore, it's small size doesn't play to an advantage. It constantly runs on shuffle mode. How is one supposed to pay so much for a product in which we can't even change modes? We can't even see what song is playing as there is no display screen and if we lose the device, there is no way to track it.

Name: Shriramya KR
Roll No: CB.EN.U4ECE20255
Department: ECE

· Description of the product and what unpleasant experience did it give you

It was a trend to launch drinks and products associated with purity and health. Pepsi concluded that a clear, colour less soft drink was the answer. Pepsi marketed the new formula as a pure, caffeine-free alternative to the classic regular colas. At the time, sodas had a negative and unhealthy image, and consumers were turning to healthier alternatives, such as natural juices.

It tasted similar to the original Pepsi. Other colour less soft drinks like 7UP and Sprite had a citrus or lemon flavour, but consumers were not sure what Crystal Pepsi should taste like. There was no similar product to compare it to, which is crucial for our brains to determine the value of something, in this case taste.

· Negative experience while using the product

Usually I will not drink soft drinks but as this was clear I thought this will taste better but when I drank it I realized that its taste was really similar to the normal pepsi which did not reach my expectations and I felt it was worst. The colour of food and beverages has a strong influence on the perception of taste and flavours. So, if you are toying with the idea of launching a coffee drink with a pink colour to make it more fun, think twice, because most people will probably find it tastes like strawberry.

Name: S LAKSHMI SAI JAHNAVI
Roll No: CB.EN.U4ELC20034
Department: Electrical and Computer Engineering

Description of the product: BoAt's headphones draw power from lithium -ion batteries which are integrated into the headphones. Many of BoAt's wireless headphones come with an auxiliary audio cable that can plug into standard headphone jacks (or other audio jacks using adapters, which aren't included). On many models, connecting headphones to an audio source using the auxiliary audio cable does not draw down battery charge. It also has the warranty for 3 years.

My unpleasant experience and negative experience while using the product:
I personally had a hard time dealing with the headphones that was given. It didn’t reach to my expectation and the quality of it wasn’t up to the mark, it got damaged in just a couple of months. The audio is working in one ear only. Sometimes the headphone gets the static interruptions. And also, I feel it was a bit heavy for carrying. Whenever I used the headphone while I was sleeping it used to fall back which was disturbing and also uncomfortable. The major issue is sometimes it will not connect properly to the devices. I felt like many of the people say that the company is good and product has good quality but when it comes to me it does not happen.

Name: Katheram Venkata Sai Ram Reddy
Roll No: CB.EN.U4CSE20131

One of the main issues with Google Hangouts is its lack of integration with other Google services. Google Hangouts was launched as a standalone platform, but as Google introduced new communication tools such as Google Meet and Google Chat, the company failed to integrate Hangouts with these platforms. This fragmentation of Google's communication tools made it difficult for users to switch between different services, and created confusion among users who didn't know which tool to use for different purposes.

My experiences:

The first issue I encountered was the lack of reliability of the platform. On several occasions, I was unable to connect to Hangouts or the audio and video quality was poor, making it difficult for me to communicate effectively with others. These technical issues were frustrating and made it difficult for me to use the platform for important meetings and conversations.

Another major concern I had with Google Hangouts was its security and privacy. I was concerned about the platform's ability to protect my personal information and data, especially when communicating with others for work-related purposes. This concern was compounded by the fact that Hangouts is a Google product, and I was aware of the company's history of collecting and using user data for commercial purposes.

In conclusion, my experience with Google Hangouts was negative due to its lack of reliability, user-unfriendly interface, security and privacy concerns, and lack of investment from Google. These issues made it difficult for me to use the platform effectively, and I ultimately had to switch to other video conferencing platforms that offered a better user experience and more features. While Google Hangouts may be a popular platform, my negative experience with the platform highlights the importance of considering these issues when choosing a video conferencing tool.

NAME : VEERUBHOTLA SRI PRANAV
ROLL NO: CB.EN.U4ECE20164
DEPARTMENT :ECE

The virtual boy was the first of its kind to give people an immersive gaming experience. Being so technologically advanced yet failing to meet the people's needs. The gaming industry was just picking up and people weren’t ready to spend 180 USD( about 300 USD now) for a console that had a very limited game library. It had a monochromatic display which caused eye strain and headache. It also had poor support technically and eventually, it was discontinued. I personally have used the product and certainly believe that Nintendo shouldn't have jumped the gun and should have developed the product a bit more.

Siddharth Satish Kumar - CB.EN.U4MEE20143 (Mechanical Engineering)

DESCRIPTION:
A drink can (or beverage can) is a metal container designed to hold a fixed portion of liquid such as carbonated soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, teas, herbal teas, energy drinks, etc. Drink cans are made of aluminum (75% of worldwide production) or tin-plated steel (25% worldwide production).

1. Bisphenol A, commonly referred to as "BPA," is a toxic compound found within some plastics. Aluminum can manufactures line the interior of the cans with a thin coating of plastic to prevent aluminum from leeching into the food.

2. After a person opens an aluminum can, the interior poses an injury because of its sharp edges--a risk not found in other types of food packaging material. This risk affects children, as well as adults.

3. Although aluminum cans are recyclable, the Container Recycling Institute notes that approximately half of all aluminum cans end up in incinerators or landfills--resulting in the need for additional cans made from new materials.
Death note Netflix Adaptation

Description of the product:
The movie was supposed to be a real life adaption of one of the most famous anime series called "Death note". The original anime and the manga (comic) describes a young prodigy who is sick of how the world was corrupted by crime and that he had no power over it, and thus when he was given an opportunity by the way of this Death Note, which had to power to kill anyone whose name was written in it. This led to the protagonist, Yagami Light, taking matters into his own hands and he gets rid of the most wanted criminals. The sudden onset of murders attracts the attention of another shadow detective, simply known as L, to get involved in this case of finding the truth behind the murders. This leads to a cat and mouse chase between the two main character who constants outwit each other.
The Netflix adaptation on the other hand took this story to be about a simple guy (unlike how Yagami Light is) and makes him run for his life away from the detective by a series of luck based escapes. The whole plot the movie completely deviates from the original story and displays the characters in the most unrecognizable way that resembles nothing of the anime or the manga.

Negative Experiences:
The movie, to me and safely assumed for a lot of other people as displayed by how big of a failure it came to be, uses a completely twisted plot that doesn't stand to the legacy of the original story. The wit and cunningness of the original story was never clearly translated into the movie making it one of the worst movie watching experience that anyone who has watched the anime could have.

Name: Sreedhar Balaji G
Roll no: CB.EN.U4MEE20144
Dept: Mechanical Engineering

Qwikster was a spin-off company created by Netflix in 2011. The plan was to separate the company's DVD-by-mail service from its streaming video service and have each operate under a separate brand. Releasing in 2010, Windows Phone was the boldest and most original reimagining of what a smartphone can be after Apple’s iPhone introduction three years prior. Despite its technical superiority over its main competitor, the VHS format, it ultimately failed to gain widespread adoption and was largely abandoned by the mid-1980s.

There were several factors that contributed to the failure of the Betamax format:

1. Timing: Sony released the Betamax format several months ahead of its main competitor, VHS.

Product Name: Cyberpunk (Game)
Description:
Cyberpunk 2077 fizzled in light of the fact that it was delivered rashly, because of very elevated requirements, and contradiction with current-gen consoles.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 turned out to be delivered too soon, it experienced handfuls and many bugs right all along.
Specifically, the last-gen control centres, for example, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One just couldn't deal with the real burden. While the PC adaptation was for the most part invited with positive audits, the old-gen rendition of the game would reliably crash and must be played with low goal and framerate.
Combined with the promotion that Cd Projekt figured out how to develop, this eventually prompted a huge number of disheartened players.
Many forces to be reckoned with and media sources started heaping onto the organization and tried to share each and every bug they found. YouTube gatherings would draw in a large number of perspectives, further adding to the negative opinion against the game.
Negative experience:
I bought that game for RS 3000 and installed that heavy space-consuming game just to get stuck in the middle because of its bugs and the whole plot was too short to play and complete which isn't worth its cost. Also, the console gameplay was far worse because of bugs, visual shortcomings and game-breaking crashes.

Name: Nithin Skantha M
Roll Number: CB.EN.U4CSE20046
Department: CSE

Instagram is accessible both via android ,iOS mobile devices and through system webs.

My bad experience :
I had an unpleasant experience after trying this application, While using the application in my mobile, it doesn't show me many features as like how it shows to my friends. Features like replying to the specific chat is not allowed in my installed app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it many times. But no use of doing it for many times. Its very irritating because when texting someone ,when you have many things to put on, and when you are getting multiple texts from the same person , it must need to be clear to which text ,we are replying them to.

The Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing personal transportation device that was introduced in 2001 and was initially touted as a revolutionary new mode of transportation. Despite its initial hype and high expectations, the Segway ultimately failed to live up to its potential and become a mainstream mode of transportation.

Reasons were:
1. High Cost: The high cost of the Segway made it inaccessible to the majority of consumers, which limited its market potential. Segway devices were more expensive than traditional modes of transportation such as bicycles or even motorcycles.
2. Limited Functionality: The Segway was designed primarily for urban use, but its speed and range were limited, making it less appealing for long trips or rural areas and awkward to use.
3.Lack of Acceptance: The Segway struggled to gain widespread acceptance and appeal, which limited its market potential.
4. Competition: the Segway faced increased competition from new and innovative products, such as electric scooters, hoverboards, and e-bikes, which offered similar functionality at a lower cost and with greater convenience.
5.Marketing and Branding: The Segway was marketed primarily as a luxury item, which limited its appeal to a niche market.

Negative Experience:
1.

Product: Microsoft Bob
Description:
It was a personal assistant software released by Microsoft in March 1995. It was designed to provide an interface for computer users who were intimidated by the traditional Windows operating system. Microsoft Bob used a cartoon character interface and a conversational style to help users perform tasks. However, the product was widely criticized for its poor design, lack of functionality, and poor performance. It was widely regarded as a failure and was discontinued after just one year on the market. Despite its simple appearance, Bob required more processing power than most home computers had in 1995. Bob was also considered too expensive and poorly designed and was overshadowed by the release of Windows 95 later that year. The basic concept of Microsoft Bob was a good idea, but the idea was poorly implemented. Rather than being helpful, the Bob interface was largely regarded as annoying. Bob was discontinued roughly a year after its release. Despite its commercial failure, Microsoft Bob is often cited as a cautionary tale in the tech industry and is remembered as one of Microsoft's biggest failures.

Experience:
I personally found the cartoon character interface to be childish and distracting, and the conversational style was often confusing and difficult to use. Additionally, the software was slow and resource-intensive, which made it difficult to use on older computers. I found it to be a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Name: SATHI LAKSHMI PRIYATHA REDDY
ROLL NO: CB.EN.U4CSE20654
DEPT: CSE
