People involved were finally able to go to sleep without being scared about being killed by the KKK Also known as the Ku Klux Klan. They were now protected by everyone including white people. Then the KKK started to fall apart and black people were so much safer than before. They were also able to do every day things like vote. Black people were able to vote, and they had the rights like white people had. Back then black people did not have the rights they have now and they were basically slaves. Those people now have the rights that they did not have before.

The impact on the country was it allowed black people to vote. It led to all races to live the same, vote the same, and do everything else the same. This is how the march impacted our country. The country was probably very happy with the results of the march and that is a fact because after the march black people had the rights to do anything white people could do.
