This article focuses on discrimination as a whole in Europe. While it mainly focuses on racism, there are bits on gender and sexual orientation as well. I have a couple of ideas as to how I might use this in my essay. I may use it in my conclusion to close out the essay and talk about the other types of discrimination that is in Europe like gender discrimination or discrimination against certain sexual orientations.

I could use this in my counterstory because it is a specific example and can show the true details of what I’m arguing.

In Chovanec’s article, he takes a different approach to see racism in soccer. He looks at the response from fans and public discourse after a series of controversial incidents after a match. I’m thinking that I could use this as a part of my counter story by giving the specific examples presented in the article.

Unlike the other articles so far, this one doesn’t just focus on the racism happening in soccer, it studies what can be done to reduce discrimination. By using soccer coaches, they hope to show the important role soccer can play in promoting diversity and inclusivity in the world. I could use this in my conclusion as a way to show what’s actually being done to help the issue of racism in soccer.

The point of this article is to explore the different domains of German soccer and how they play a role in the racism they experience. By doing this, they hope to find out more about what they can do to help slow down and eventually stop racism in soccer.
