Topic: “How to improve the recycling process for waste generated at the OSCAR distribution center?”

In the first Sprint we made a technical visit to theOSCAR distribution center, on 04/17/2024. Wherewe can gain more knowledge about the place andthe topic presented.

The person responsible for the visit was Matheus Alves, who answered any questions regarding thecompletion of the first sprint. The focal point of ourteam was Samara, HR analyst, where she helped uswith the project

With the visit and the information received, we wereable to find out that the employees had no knowledge about the recycling process. We also sawthe map of collectors, which ones and the amount ofwaste generated.

Our proposal for the first sprint was to profit from thewaste generated, but to do so, we needed to mapwaste disposal sites in the CD, find out more aboutwhat and how much waste is generated and raiseawareness among employees about wasteseparation.

Visibility: For greater reach of the project, we createdand distributed banners in employee awarenessareas

Investment: During the technical visit we saw thatthere are no correct garbage collectors in the areas, so we left some research to purchase thesecollectors, to improve waste separation

Training: To improve and ensure correct wastedisposal by employees, we provide the contactdetails of a company that provides training consultancy for waste selection and awareness

The company Ecologic environmental solutions is a company with environmental licensing that offerssolutions for the correct disposal of waste in accordance with the national waste policy, Law no. 12,302/10.

Implements internal waste management andenvironmental advisory processes. Promotes reverse logistics of materials discarded by industry and othergenerators.

Profitability: Part of this project includes costs wherewe know they will be necessary for it to happen, butwith the quantity generated at the São José dos Campos CD we will quote according to real marketvalues, thus verifying costs and gains.

We created an animated video explaining in detailabout waste separation and disposal, with the aim ofimproving employees’ understanding.

And we provide other forms of training so that theresult of this entire project is better than expected.
