To me digital citizenship is very important as the upcoming generation is learning more and more with technology and knowing how to properly use this technology is a very important key in their success. Unfortunately in our society there are people who don't use the internet for good. By teaching children the correct ways of using the internet and their digital footprint they will be more aware about who they talk to or sites they visit. For me knowing my children will grow up with so much technology and knowing that their are people who can take advantage of them it is a concerning thing. If we teach our children the proper way they have a better chance at not being a victim so those kinds of things!
