My finished landscape from the Botanic Gardens of Chicago. For now I will call it, "Blends of Nature's Elements". For this piece I used some fine tip marker/pens, of course pencil/eraser and water based duel-tip markers called Spectrum- Noir, if I'm correct. Overall I am very happy with this Project. It was one of the 3 assignments that we received at the botanic gardens but it didn't stop there and soon turned into something greater the more I worked on it. I'm very happy with the way the water part turned out as that was the part used with mostly all marker, especially since this was my first time using something like that.

I call this finished piece, " An Unlikely Blend of Friendship." This is a mixed media pice done with some different pens and finishing the background with collaging book pages and tissue paper. Overall, this project really turned out well I was a little nervous but I trusted my gut and went with it. It was hard to figure out the medium to use for the background because of using one for the subject. Ultimately I decided on using collage because it was settle without being to boring and plain

I wasted some time because I was scared, but doing that didn't help me learn anyway. I still get nervous when painting, that's just something i'll have to work on.

This piece is called "A Memory Captured"
I used Mechanical Pencil and Ebony Pencil and of course erasers to pull this off. Some of it got a little cut off but I'm really proud of this project. One, because of the result, but also because I had enough motivation to work on it on my own, because of who I was giving it to. Now I just have to work on applying that to my other schoolwork. This is the Original Copy that I gave as a gift. I will also post a picture of the copy made.
