Initially, stations are not easy to set up. There is often a lot of time involved to determine what to put in a station and time involved typing, copying, cutting, sorting into baggies. It is time well spent, because the materials can be used over and over throughout your years of teaching. Also, stations are not "easy" to set up. Once you have an idea on what stations could be, you're using an entire day prepping for them, especially with so many things going on  in the classroom
