I disagree with the statement that stations are "easy, yet effective". Initially, stations are not easy to set up. There is often a lot of time involved to determine what to put in a station and time involved typing, copying, cutting, sorting into baggies. It is time well spent, because the materials can be used over and over throughout your years of teaching. Just be prepared initially to put some time into preperation.
