A specialty of Lucita Preschool is that children are always told bilingual stories in both English and Vietnamese. Through repetition, the story gradually penetrates into young minds naturally. They immerse themselves in the story, become a part of it, and feel the subtleties. One story a week, the children remember the content and plot very quickly, and can help teacher Tomas follow the story.

Tuần này, với chủ đề về động vật thầy Tomas đã giới thiệu các từ vựng về một số con vật quen thuộc, nói về đặc điểm, thói quen, đồ ăn, tiếng kêu... và tổ chức các trò chơi củng cố cho tiết học. Các con đều vui vẻ và tích cực tham gia trò chơi và nói được từ vựng thông qua đồ dùng trực quan.

This week, with the topic of animals, Mr. Tomas introduced vocabulary about some familiar animals, talking about their characteristics, habits, food, sounds and organized games to reinforce the lesson. The children happily and actively participated in the game and spoke vocabulary through visual aids.

Không những thế ngâm chân nước gừng ấm vào mùa lạnh cũng giúp các con dễ ngủ và hạn chế những vấn đề cảm lạnh.

After active lessons and playtime, the children of Tulip class calm down and experience a relaxing foot bath. Foot bathing helps restore balance and harmony within children between movement and stillness, making both body and mind peaceful. Not only that, bathing your feet in warm ginger water in the cold season also helps children sleep easily and limits cold problems.

The special thing at Lucita is that children can create watercolors on a wet on wet background, the paper is soaked with water before drawing. With the children's small hands and imagination, the pen strokes glide gently on the paper, the color spread makes the children very excited. Each drawing hour, children will listen to a story and develop their imagination through feeling each child's story, each painting will have its own unique character.

Physical education is an activity that helps children stay healthy and is also an important activity that helps develop both physically and mentally for children. After hours of studying in class, children are always excited to participate enthusiastically in activities. This week, the children and Ms. Thin have the exercise "Throwing a disc". This activity helps children develop their arms, wrists and fingers, and cooperates with teammates, to bring the best excitement, help them relax, create joy, and move towards development.

In the English lessons, besides some activities like sitting in a circle, singing songs about the seasons, listening to weekly stories, learning activities will be interspersed and changed continuously so that children feel new, excited and more positive. This week, the children and Teacher Tomas had many great activities about math and letters, talking about chickens, learning about the life cycle of chickens, beeswax.

This week, the children and teacher James organized a play of the story "Cinderella". The children and teachers recreated the play through the expression of personality and words of the Tulip class's child characters. The children remembered the content of the story, were excited when assigned roles, and performed their tasks well.

Music nourishes emotions and soul. Enjoying music is an indispensable activity at Lucita. Each music lesson brings to children with different emotions. The children are immersed in their own space with melodious music. This week, the children and teacher learned to sing the song "Ngay xuan long phung sum vay” and about Ukelele.

At our Lucita school, there is a beautiful, clean and green vegetable garden. Every time going to the garden, both teachers and students from Tulip class are very excited and actively involved in watering and catching snails and catching vegetable worms. Children learn how to work usefully and enjoy cool and fresh air.
