I am a teacher of biology and the coordinator of internationalisation activities in the school. The school is located in Spijkenisse, near Rotterdam in The Netherlands. It is a secondary school for pupils from 12 to 18 years old. We can say that we are an international minded school which you can see in the activities we organise for our pupils.

I live in Rotterdam, next to the river Maas. In my spare time I like to meet up with friends and family and go outside to -for example- a festival or a terrace. Since I was 18 years old I am nonstop traveling the world to meet people and cultures. This enrich my life so much, that it is kind of addicting. I have never been to the La Reunion and I am looking forward to learn about the culture, heritage and nature. Hopefully it will enrich the internationalisation activities we will organise in the future in our school.

Three positive things about myself are: cheerfulness, adventurous and organisationally strong.

I’m a physics teacher at the Ring van Putten, a secondary school near Rotterdam, where I teach physics to pupils from 14 to 18 years old. Niaz, who is also joining the project, helps me out a lot during practical sessions. I live in Vlaardingen, which is a small place near Rotterdam. I have two cats named Lev and Lincoln. When I have spare time, I like to meet up with friends for dinner, play soccer or go out for a run. During the weekends, I’m often visiting Amsterdam where I support AFC Ajax, currently the greatest soccer team in the Netherlands. 
If I should mention three positive things about myself I would say that I’m ambitious, sporty and helpful.
