It was held in very high respects as it was considered to be a light break in the dark events. 2017 seemed to be a big year for new music. Perhaps some people needed an escape and used music as a sort of means of transportation. Whatever the reason, Divide blew up. Ed Sheeran, an already very famous artist, became even more famous and for, in my opinion, good reason.  Features an abundance of different musical styles. Pop, rock, alternative and more. People have taken to calling Sheeran a “troubadour” or french medieval lyric poet.
