         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Paleo Diet helps you lose weight because there is an increased protein intake that makes you fuller longer so you eat less. It also reduces the amount of processed foods and sugars in your diet which lead to weight gain, and in turn the diet aids in weight loss. The diet is also focused on natural or "clean" foods which mean your body is getting a variety of nutrients to support your health. It claims that eating high protein and low carbs, no processed foods,  and no dairy, you will lose weight and be healthier.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This diet does come with many risks. First, it may cause you to develop Osteoporosis or other done problems because you are not allowed to eat/drink dairy. The Paleo diet can also lead to some cardiovascular problems since the red meat that is consumed in the diet has saturated fat. This diet is also expensive at times and restrictive. It would be hard to enjoy a normal life while on this diet. Many people also say that we are not cavemen, so we shouldn't eat like they did. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Personal Opinion</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that while the idea of the Paleo diet might be good, in that you should eat like our ancestors since they were healthy, it is not a plausible diet for people today. First, there are so many options available to us and it would be torture to stay away from almost every food group. Additionally, it would be impossible to enjoy a meal with friends or family if they weren't on the diet. This diet also deprives our bodies of dairy which contains calcium and vitamin D, both of which we need to strengthen our bones. Without these nutrients, and many others that Paleo cuts out, we might be unhealthier than when we started. Finally, I feel like the best way to lose weight is exercise. This diet does not include any exercise, it is just supposed to be a quick fix. </div>]]></description>
