Khan academy uses videos of subjects to teach people what subjects are and how to do them. In this video I learned that in the human body there is 37 trillion sells and that Robert Hooke was the first to see cells using an early microscope although he only saw dead cells. After that he published micrographia. Two fun facts cells are named after monks rooms and Isaac newton burned the only photo/picture of Robert Hooke. Antoine(very long name) was the first to observe living cells like protist/animal cells and sperm by making. A more powerful lens. Schwan and Schneider then came up with the theories that all life is made of cells, all cells are the basic units of life, and all cells come from other cells. Also Remak was plagiarized by Virchow. About theory on all cells come from other cells.

I think khan academy is a wonderful place that teaches you certain and wide variety of skills. In the video we watched today I learned about how cells where discovered and how they were found. I learned that every life form has to have more than one cell to be considered a life form and how all cells come from other cells. Every human being has 37 trillion cells in there body and that humans only started looking at alive cells since the modern 1800. Leeuwenhoek was the first person to see alive cells unlike Robert hook who only looked at dead cells though he made a book on them and published it in 1665. Throughout the video I had two questions, why can there only be more than one cell per organism and how do cells reproduce.

Another fact is that Issac Newton burned the only photo that we had of Robert hook. My last fact is that Robert hook only look at dead cells and not alive cells like we do to day.

Khan Academy teaches students by uses different techniques in videos. What this video taught me that Robert Hooke discovered that there are over 37 trillion cells in the human body. He studies cells by using one of the first microscopes. Hooke only studied dead cells. Antonie Van Leevwenhoek studied living animal cells instead of dead cells like Hooke did. Schwann and Schieder came up with a hypothesis that all life is composed of cells. Do you know the guy that discovered gravity? Isaac Newton was his name. Newton burned the last photograph of Hooke because he wanted to get the credit for being the first one to study cells, and take all the credit. Speaking of taking all the credit, Virchow plagiarized Remak, so Reamk gets all of the credit instead of Virchow getting half of the credit.

Khan Academy shows videos and tell you how cells work and they give you these paragraphs to read about cells and you learn a lot from them! They give clear explanations and you can understand well it teaches people a lot from just one video. And then after that they make you do a quiz and the questions are pretty simple. Anyways what I learned is how cells were seen and how they made microscopes and different microscopes. If anything i was taught that there a 37 trillion cells in your body! And the first person to look into cells was Robert Hooke. He published “micrographia” in 1665, turns out he was a pretty good artist and drew cells to show people how they looked like and what they were. But an interesting thing about Robert Hooke was that he only looked into dead cells he never looked into any alive cells. And people weren’t sure but life started appearing about 3.5 billion years ago, well closer to 4 billion. Then someone else came in he was inspired by Robert Hooke his name was Antoine van Leeuwenhoek. He heard about Robert Hooke and was inspired so he started making lenses. Then schleidn and Schwann made the cell theory. They made 3 reasons 1. All cells are composed of 1 or more cells . 2. Cells are the basic unit of life. 3.all cells come from other cells. That the cell theory. Then here come virchow and remalk. Relamk is the one who said what if cells come from other cells . But then virchow took his credit and plagiarized remalks work! So yeah i learned all that from just one video. So khan academy teaches on the subject your learning about and teaches you about what you need to learn by jusat watching a video! It’s very simple and you learn a lot from one video. But i do have some questions . How did they investigate cells? Why did Isaac Newton burn the only picture of Robert Hooke? Why did Robert Hooke only look at dead cells? Why do we need cells ?Why was Antoine van Leeuwenhoek so inspired? Did Antoine van Leeuwenhoek help to find out what cells are? How did they make the cell theory? Why did virchow plagiarize remlaks credit ? How do they know when cells first appeared?

The living and non living. What is the difference?First the living things are made of cells, the living cells are a live some example of living cells are animals, plants humans, everything is a live. One fact is the humans have 37 trillion of living cells. Other thing is living cells come from other cell.So that means the cells are not living are not alive. Are objects not alive.

These are the notes I took for cell theory.
Khan academy is a website that explains subjects like science or math. Cells are our units of our life’s, if we didn’t have cells we would be non living. Cells are made of water, inorganic icons, and carbons. Every animal and human are made of cells. Humans have 37trillion cells. Cells work by having nutrients, and protecting us from infections or diseases. Cells also live in trees, flowers, grass, and other plants.
