Presentation & defense of projects

But first of all, before the presentations and defense of the project, we recorded a video in groups of three or four.

In this video, the whole class talked and discussed about TEPBLL: ideas, opinions, definitions and also useful points of language learning in a technological environment.

Through the blog we had to answer questions related to: the optimal use of available resources, time management, attitude, learner autonomy and willingness to learn from others.

Peer evaluation

We also had to evaluate our group mates from the final projects. The questions were linked to: contribution to the project, time management, attitude and also knowledge gained.

We had to think back across the whole curse to give feedback to the teachers. The main goal of this evaluation is to improve methodologies or activities among other for next years.

THE EXPOSITIONS

We started the expositions of the final projects. We had 10 minutes each group and then 10 more for answering the questions.

-The way we evaluated:

There was a jury composed of students from our class and also an expert. This jury was in charge of asking a question to the group related to the project.
Then, another group of students had to evaluate the quality of the jury.
At the same time, another group of five people had to evaluate the quality of the group which was exposing (the entonation, level of English, vocabulary...).

The vast majority of people use tools such as Powtoon and Prezi for the performance of the projects.

MELINDA'S ADVICE... (which we'll never forget)

Melinda, was our trail more than our teacher or guide. We still remember, during the last session when she told us an interesting and useful advice:

"How many of you are able to name 3 Oscar's BSO winners?"
"And, how many of you can name 3 Nobel Prize's winner?
The answer was: nobody. She continued:
"Now, how many of you can name me 3 great, great, great teachers in your life?"
Everybody was astonished, reflexive and someothers excited.
This is a conforting job: do your best!
