in Bohri Muslims we have a concept of Misaq which is done at the age of 14 for boys and 13 for girls. Which aligns with their puberty age.

This is a big event, as it is celebrated with family gathering.

It also demanrkates the progression of child from a young boy or girl to a man or woman

In my culture as soon as a female has had her first menstrual cycle the ladies of the family make a only ladies party and they put you in a seat called ‘3amariya’ this is just a small gesture of respect from the ladies side of the family. However for boys there is no celebration once they hit puberty

In my culture, we dont have a specific dedicated day towards puberty. You have to inform your parents about it and they might even say "congratulations, you are welcome to enter the adult world". For the boys I dont think there is any way of "congratulating" them.
